Chapter 4 by Stalagg Stalagg

Your next move is to?

Follow them discreetly

Under normal circumstances you wouldn't have high hopes of obtaining whatever loot the party didn't pick up. Heroes were renown for being kleptomaniacs and normally they picked up everything that wasn't nailed down, hell even if it was nailed down they would find a way to bring it with them. Every now and again though high leveled heroes would travel through an area they had been through previously in search of specific loot instead of just anything that's dropped or given to them. These heroes could attract Treasure Goblins due to the long trails of items they never picked up due to their worth being so little. 'Vendor trash' as they call it. For a Treasure Goblin like you though it was a perfect arrangement. If the party already had a goal in mind then unless you made yourself known there was little chance of them deviating from their path.

With that in mind you managed to slip out of the tunnels that made up your home and you landed in a shallow puddle of cave water. The party was far enough ahead where they couldn't hear you or they potentially did and assumed you were a low leveled mob. Looking around your immediate surroundings you spot a small pile of bats which had been cut down by the party rather easily.

"Perfect! I could use more wings and teeth!"

You remarked with some glee. One heroes mob trash was another monster's treasure as the saying goes. You knelt down and began picking apart the little bodies, fangs, wings, and claws all being plucked and tossed into your Sack for safe keeping. No matter the worth a Treasure Goblin didn't turn their nose up at loot which was left lying around. Anything to help increase the size of your Sack after all. Satisfied with this pile you glanced at the direction the party was heading and adjusted your Sack before sneaking after them. They were headed towards Kaligoth's lair if your sense of direction was correct, which worked in your favor thanks to the area that lay before the Boss' chamber. Thin stone bridges connected the caverns to Kaligoth's lair and sat high above a large chamber. If you were spotted you could always hop down the platform and the party would have to risk hours of progress to chase after you if they wanted to get you. Fall damage and any mobs they didn't get though usually discouraged most groups and let you make your clean getaway...subjective clean getaway anyhow. It's not like you were disgusting or anything but cave water was really cold to clean yourself with.

"I am telling you lasses that it's around here somewhere, I can feel it in my gut!"

The Dwarf spoke up from ahead, Faldin if you remembered correctly. Inching closer to the torch light the party carried you began to make out their shapes and forms from the shadows. Your earlier assumption was correct on the party's composition for there stood a Dwarf Man, and a Half-Orc and Gnome Women. The Dwarf was dressed in elaborate plate armor which from what you could tell was gold in coloring and had numerous gems and holy symbols upon it. His head was completely bald and had numerous tattoos inked onto his scalp, a tall tell beard sitting on his face which was almost as red as the torch the party carried. The massive hammer in his hands sealed the deal and you identified him as a Paladin. Perfect, not only was a he a greedy Dwarf but he was a greedy Dwarf who justified himself by whatever his patron God was.

You glanced up towards the cave's ceiling carefully in that moment, eyeing it as though some divine retribution would come down. When nothing did you breathed a sigh of relief and continued your observation. When it came to Gods there was no taking chances, they were all of them powerful and most didn't take kindly to criticism of any sort.

The Half-Orcess towered over her companions naturally, at around six and a half feet if you could guess correctly. The torch light shined upon her light green skin from what he could see, a much fairer complexion than purebred Greenskins. Completely understandable given her Human half. On her back she held a large bow and arrow quiver, indicating she was a Ranger of all things! How rare was this chick!? A Half-Orcess who preferred long distance combat, be like a Gnome Fighter or something. Her muscled body was covered in leather padding but in true heroine fashion it showcased her thick thighs, her hard navel, and punctuated her insanely large bosom. The Half-Orcess' breasts were slightly larger than your head! You could feel yourself becoming excited just from spying on her and you adjusted your groin to compensate for the tightness in your pants.

Lastly your eyes landed on the smallest member of their party and if your interest had been captured from the Half Orc this Gnome caught your absolute attention. Proportion wise she was a complete bimbo with large hips, huge tits, and a nice big bubble but you wanted to squeeze, all wrapped tightly in a cute blue robe. The robe hugged her form perfectly and showcased an ample amount of cleavage which shouldn't be possible for someone her size. Her hair was a hot pink and she kept a small pointed hat on her head which completely betrayed her experience in adventuring. A new heroine! She was completely new and was utilizing beginner's equipment! So beginner's that it was under-leveled for the Caverns of Kaligoth.

"The only thing you can feel in your stomach is the ale you tried to drown yourself in."

The Half-Orcess replied to her companion with a less than impressed tone, dragging your attention away from the Gnomish Goddess. A quick glance at the ceiling and a muttered apology to any Gnome Gods and you began to inch towards the party again. Tilting your head you tried to eavesdrop on their conversation further, curious about their purpose in the Caverns of Kaligoth.

Does Eavesdropping go well?
