Piya apologies and begs for forgiveness.

“I’m sorry!” Piya practically sobs, “I’ve gone about this all wrong.”

“You're telling me you have,” I agree with her one hundred per cent, “what was with your performance tonight?”

“I’m not thinking straight. I was trying to make you jealous,” Piya admitting what I had known from the very beginning.

“That was pretty damn obvious,” I say as Piya looks up into my eyes to see if it has worked. I catch her look before she can look away, “and no, I’m far too pissed off with you right now to get jealous.”

Knowing her plan has failed Piya at least shows a bit of fighting spirit to be annoyed with me for kicking out her other half. “Well if you knew what I was doing you shouldn’t have kicked out my boyfriend. That was mean.”

“I couldn’t care less about that guy. I never have. I wanted you to dump him and be with me for so long,” I tell Piya angrily.

At this, she looks happy for the first time which isn’t what I was intending.

“And what would he say about you kissing some random guy tonight?” I ask.

“He always forgave me for kissing you,” Piya says with a pout.

“You should have been keeping your lips to yourself. Isn’t that what you said to me? Yui told me you were supposed to introduce us that night you came in and danced with me. Why would you tell her that if you had no intention of doing it?”

“Because I didn’t actually want you to go out with her. I wanted to keep you for myself,” Piya tells me.

As we’ve been talking the sky has been getting steadily cloudier. The heavens open up as we are taking beside my car.

Interrupted just as we are getting to the truth, I swear, “fuck sake! Jump in the other side out of the rain.”

Piya covers her hair from getting wet as she runs around the other side of my car as I unlock it. We avoid the worst of it as the rain really starts to pour once we are inside. The water sheeting down my windscreen making seeing outside impossible. I have no idea how long the shower is going to last so for the moment I’m stuck with Piya inside my car.

Getting back to our conversation, I continue where we had been interrupted due to weather.

“So, what was I just your fall back then if things don’t work out with your boyfriend?”

“No and yes. Things aren’t working out with him. They haven’t been for a long while. I’ve just been too afraid to break things off with him. Knowing you were there made it easier to deal with things. It wasn’t fair on you; I know that now.”

“Well, that’s all a bit too late. I’m with Yui now,” I tell Piya.

“I know and I’m honestly so happy for the pair of you. I want you both to be happy, I honestly do. She’s my best friend and I was horrible to her at my house.”

“You need to apologies to her and sort things out with her. She doesn’t want to be fighting with you over me. That’s the last thing she wants. I know that much,” I say, hoping I can mend the friendship between the two girls.

“I know and I will. I just need to get you out of my mind,” Piya tells me.

“I can’t help you with that sorry. That’s something you have to do on your own.”

Turning to face me, Piya reaches out and takes my forearm closest to her. “But you can help me.”

“How?” I ask.

“Sleep with me. Take me home to your place and fuck me. I need to feel you inside me and know what it’s like to make love to you. I’ll let you do whatever you want to me. I promise no one will ever know. It will stay completely between us.”

I’m stunned by Piya’s words. She wants to fuck me behind her best friends back.
