Chapter 6 by depravedDays depravedDays

Do you follow Ash home?

Okay. But the bitch better be feeding ya, cos you’re getting hungry.

You and Ash took the train and sat in silence while you watched the city go by outside the window.

“Oh no!” Ash exclaimed, “I didn’t expect to be successful in catching you today, Gus, so I didn’t really prepare anything for you back home,” he said.

Ash took out what looked like a smartphone. You are rather intrigued by the gadget that seems to run on magical power. “Is that…” you asked.

“That’s a pokephone, yes,” said Ash.

You groaned aloud and went back to looking out of the window.

Ash browsed through his phone. “Ughh, I don’t have much pokezeny left in my account,” he said sadly. But then he shook his head. “No, I can make ends meet. I’ll get a part time job. Taking care of my pokeguard is more important!”

The train slowed down as it approached the next station. Ash got up from his seat. “Let’s get off here, Gus! We’ll go get a few things before we head home.”

You shrugged and followed Ash.

The train came to a stop. The doors opened and you both got off. Ash then lead you out of the train station to a vibrant, crowded street. The evening crowd was starting to form and the street was aglow with bright and colorful shop signs and magical advertising holograms.

“This way, Gus!” Ash said excitedly as he weaved through the crowd ahead of you.

“Man, slow your motherfucking bitch ass down,” you muttered under your breath. It was kinda hard to navigate the crowd with your hulking frame. A single accidental swing of your massive arm could send someone’s head through a wall.

Ash lead you to a large corner shop with huge moving neon signs hanging overhead displaying the shop’s name in bright animated letters. “Guardians Galleria…” You read.

You followed Ash into the shop. There were other people with all kinds of funky creatures following them around. A dude was trying on some leashes for his werewolf. Another chick was picking out cat-ears bands and trying them on her bored-looking succubus.

“No fucking way,” you said, “Is this a PET STORE?!”

“Gus! Over here!” Ash called excitedly and waved at you from up ahead.

You trudged over and saw that Ash was checking out a pallet of enormous bulk food packages.

“What do you think? It’s on sale!” Ash gushed. “They have Tuna, Beef, or Spinach flavors, but it’s all vegan!”

You gave Ash a withering look. “Bitch, you better not be planning on feeding me this crap…”

Ash looked surprised. Then he laughed awkwardly and scratched the back of his head. “Hahaha. I shoulda known you wouldn’t like the cheap stuff. You’re a mythical guardian after all. Come on, the premium chow is down that aisle!” Ash said, pointing further down the store.

You executed a massive green-handed facepalm and groaned. “Ash, stop it. I’m not gonna eat pet food.”

“Huh? It’s not pet food,” Ash said. He pointed to some wording on the bulk food pack which read, ‘Specially formulated for Guardians. DO NOT FEED TO PETS!’

“Yeah, no,” you said, “I’ll just be eating what you people be eating.”

“Oh…” Ash said, “Well… okay… I guess we should look for a bed for you then?”

You sighed. “And I won’t be sleeping on any doggy beds either. I’ll just have your bed.”

“O-oh…” said Ash. “Erm… I-it might be a lot more comfortable for you if you return to your card to rest though?”

You rolled your eyes and turned to walk out of the store.

“Hey Gus! Waiiiiiittttt!” Ash called out as he ran after you.

Just as you reached the store entrance, the door opened and a slim, nubile figure suddenly stepped up in your path. “Ash Gatcham. Fancy meeting you here!” The girl said.

You stopped in your tracks causing Ash to collide against your back. “Oof!” He said.

Ash then peeked around you and his face lit up when he saw the person before you. “Hey Risa! Doing some shopping for your guardian?”

You gave the girl in front of you an appreciative glance. She was slim and petite with long, dark burgundy locks of hair which was pulled back into a messy ponytail. Despite her slight frame, she had some serious curvaceous flair in her hips and an athletic ass which she flaunted in a pair of running shorts. The rest of her attire was pretty casual. She wore a green stripped tank top and a pair of red sneakers. She seemed to have a permanent teasing grin etched into her cute face.

“Yeah…” Risa said as she looked up at you in awe, “W-wow Ash, is this your guardian?”

“Yup!” Ash replied proudly, “I just got him today!”

“Congrats,” Risa replied, “I always knew you could do it. Gosh, he’s so biggg.”

Your fine-tuned orcish instincts immediately picked up the tell-tale signs of arousal from this girl. She seemed to be swooning and a gradual pink flush was forming across her face.

“Gus, this is my childhood friend, Marissa Valentine,” Ash said. “Risa, this is Gus, my new Guardian.”

“Sup,” you growled and watched the effect your low baritone inflicted on the hot little thing. She was literally squirming at the sound of your voice.

“Holy moly! I-It can talk!?” Marissa squeaked.

“Yep! He’s pretty rare. So what are you looking to buy, Risa?” Ash asked, completely oblivious to the thick atmosphere of lust that had materialized around him.

“Hmm? Oh, right,” Marissa said as she reluctantly tore her eyes away from your blue-green abs and pecs. “I wanted to stock up on potions and cures for the guardian ranking exams in the next couple of weeks.”

Ash slapped his forehead. “Oh god, I totally forgot about that.”

Marissa chuckled, “You weren’t even invited, silly. You didn’t even have a guardian before.”

Ash pouted. “But I do now! I can finally participate in the academy’s pokeguard events now that I have Gus here.”

Marissa toyed with a lock of her auburn hair as she gave you another lingering glance. “I dunno Ash. You still have some ways to go to qualify. Summoning your guardian is only the first step, you know? You still need to train your guardian, pass required guardian assessments and collect all the required badges, then obtain your first circle qualifications.”

Ash put on a determined look. “No sweat! Gus and I will blow past all these restrictions and get into the first circle in no time!” He gave Marissa a thumbs up. “Isn’t that right Gus?”

“Dude, I’m hungry. What’s for dinner?” You asked in a bored voice as you reached back to scratch your ass.

“Oh, gosh, sorry!” Ash said. “Ermm… What would you like to eat?”

“I think I saw a Mickey D out there,” you replied.

“Mickee Dee?” Ash asked, looking confused.

“That fast food place with the golden ‘M’.”

“Oh you mean Mac-D. Yeah, we can go there, I suppose…” Ash said meekly as he checked his digital wallet on his phone.

“Why don’t you join us Ash?” Marissa gushed, “Most of first circle students are meeting up there. I was going to head to Mac-D anyway after this.”

“T-the f-first c-circle?” Ash stammered. “B-but I-I’m not in the circle yet.”

“It’ll be fine!” Marissa replied. “Kenneth’s there as well. I’m sure he’ll be glad to see you. Just give me a sec. I’ll go get my items and we’ll walk there together.”

Marissa then trotted off excitedly into the store.

You glanced sideways at your fidgeting trainer. Ash’s inferiority complex was palpable.

“So who’s Kenneth?” You asked.

“Oh, just a childhood friend,” Ash replied meekly, “Him, Risa, and I grew up together.”

You sighed. “Let me guess, the three of you made a childhood promise to become the best pokeguard trainers ever. But as it turns out, you totally suck at it while Kenneth turned out to be a generational genius of some sort.”

Ash turned to look up at you with his mouth agape. “WOW! How did you know?”

You sighed and gave Ash another appraising glance. He had spiky black hair, was neither too tall nor too short, and had a certain naive spark in his eyes that proclaims that all things are possible with hard-work, love, friendship, believing in the heart of the cards, or some bullshit like that.

“You look the type…” you replied simply.

“Huh?”

“Nevermind.”

What will happen next?
