With another effort of will you call upon the baneworms to attack the dwarf. It taxes you, and you realize you are burning through the power you got from the Morphworm leveling up precipitously fast, but you just can't let Armok take credit for this miracle which already cost you so much.

The dwarf screams and tries to run, but the baneworms, empowered somehow by the divine energy you have expended on them, are on her and surrounding her faster than she thought possible, and she goes down in a blaze of failed healing spells.

The worms look to attack the halfling as well, but with the last dregs of the power you gained only minutes ago you exert your will on them again: "Stay with the dwarf, the halfling's too far from the pool already..." You whisper into their primitive minds, and the swarm buys it, at least long enough for the halfling to come to her senses and RUN.

The power you had so recently won spent you sink down exhausted, until...
