The various kinds of encounters one might... encounter

NPCs

The rarer kind of sentient beings that one might encounter in the forest, this section is for unique Non-Player Characters. These characters all have their own personalities and motivations, so they can range from hostile to friendly and anywhere in-between.

As with the bestiary, it would be a problem to list the entire cast of NPCs on here from the get-go, but for different reasons. First of which is that, depending on player interactions, a generic enemy like a bandit (or even a particularly interesting elk) could wind up becoming a named NPC. And secondly, this is probably the area where the GMs can have the most creative fun in the whole game, inventing a whole assortment of interesting characters without necessarily having the stat limitations of a player character.

NPCs will likely change over the course of adventures, much like the player characters do. Unfortunately, due to the potential of multiple timelines, it would be difficult to represent these changes through updating a single character sheet. My recommendation for this problem is to create a top-level character sheet for each character off of this post, which represents the base stats of the character on first encounter. This can stay unchanging, and from there on, pages can branch off of this top-level sheet to represent this character at various stages along any timelines that they happen to appear on.
