Chapter 4

Let us learn about...
Magic
Thanks to the gluttony and decadence of the Elves of the previous world, the arcane has been gone from the world for several millennia, which spawned many bastardized versions to supplicate it. However, there have been signs of it coming back.
There are many fields within magic, both arcane and others that replace it. And with every field of magic, there is a darker variation of it that perverts its nature to a more primeval but dangerous power.
The topic of magic requires further explanation in their own discussions, however it should be known as to how the factions feel about magic in of itself...
**************************************
Allied Coalition:
Divine Magic and Runic Magic are the only accepted kinds of magic, with Hieroglyphic being held sacred by the Sultanate within the Coalition. Hieroglyphic is not tolerated outside of the Sultanate, but the people of the sand are pretty much free to do as they please with it. The same can be said with Nature Magic in both the Confederacy and the Tribe-States.
While Hieroglyphic and Nature Magics are held sacred in the Sultanate and the Tribe-States, the other forms of magic are not tolerated and hunted with impunity by several orders of the Coalition.
This includes any dark magic, especially Execrism.
Fey Court:
Divine Magic, Rune Magic, and Planar Magic is tolerated in the Fey Court, but they revere Nature Magic above all else. The Elves are not keen on Arcane Magic and any dark magic thanks to past experiences with the wizardy ways, with the sundering of their own race eons ago.
And since they revere Nature Magic, they see Necromantic Magic especially vile.
Kor'ghal Horde:
The Horde do not care one way or the other about how magic is used within it. If it is a power, it shall be used. And if it is a power, it shall be craved after. Though, it is to be noted that they delve deeply into several dark magics, though there are some Nature Magic to be seen in popularity.
Let's delve deeper with...
Conflicts of Divine Interest
When Pantheons Misbehave
The world of Aesyr is a world of divinity and conflict. Three sides with their own believes collide in battles of war and political intrigue. But one thing is consistent...the ever evolving pantheon. The gods switch out their own rulers in a cosmic lottery. This year, it just so happens to have all the gods and goddesses of lust and conquest to be victorious.
