Aberrations

Arcane Aberrations, or Abominations to some, are a topic of interesting discussion. Since the world was fractured from the source of Arcane and have been slowly repairing itself to feel its embrace again, there have been traces of the Arcane coming back. And these Aberrations are a sign of it.

Like lightning in a storm, these Aberrations appear out of nowhere during times and at locations where the world's connection to the realm of the Arcane is at its strongest for a fraction of a time. And these Aberrations come in various forms and do various tasks.

A person suddenly becoming a mutant? A pet fish that can now perform psychic abilities? An item of pure magic spawning into the world? A plague that rolls across a certain location, tainting the land with radioactive-esque powers?

One thing can be certain, with these random bursts of Arcane presence come no signs of anything good. These Abominations may vary in their temperament, but as the world grows older and the scar starts to form, there will be more abnormalities at a faster frequency.
