Later that Night

The rest of the day goes by pretty much uneventfully as you enjoy being a noblewoman under the stern gaze of the woman’s mother. It was easy to get just follow her all day. It was not till the day was coming to an end that you could finally get away from her. Of course, even then you had to tell the servants to leave you alone as you made an escape to her room. It was only then in the privacy of your new room that you finally got the alone time you wanted.

It was at that time when you find yourself staring out of your window. You look out at as the sun is setting to the west making the sky look as beautiful as ever. After having lived your entire life looking at the world in black and white, it was so wonderful to see in colour and watch the sunset. With a slight smile on your face, you lean forward and place your elbows on the windowsill. You then lazily place your chin on your hands as you stare out at the beautiful sky. With your improved barrier, you did not have to really listen to your host as you have been able to tune her out quite well all day.

As you stand there you could not help but feel restless energy from your host. Her mind despite not being able to rest control from you, did let out feelings of frustration at once more being trapped back in this place. Even though this was a better life than the one you had escaped from you could not help but be affected by these feelings. You just could not get rid of the desire to stretch your legs as it was. You could feel a bit of smugness from her as she knew that she was able to affect you in this way.

With a heavy sigh, you made your way out through the servant’s doors in the back of the house and wandered off. There where so many places that you could go too. You could go to the local park and wander around. You could go to the local bar. Of course, you did have some of the woman’s gold on you. In this large city, there were plenty of places you could go to.
