You approach the corpse of the player you'd killed cautiously. Luckily, it looks like nobody's around. This definitely wasn't the most popular spawn site, and most players that did begin here cleared out quickly.

Stopping, the young man at your feet, you open a new tutorial message, using the audio to "speak" with Erin.

I am going to release your other arm, so you can cast your spell. But, I'm going to tighten myself around your legs. If you attack me, you'll be stranded, without clothes, unable to remove my legs, and unable to escape due to my weight.

You can feel Erin's scrawny body shaking. "O-ok."

Satisfied with Erin's intimidation, you begin opening up your arm. You concentrate, sliding the plates back and flipping them up along the side, like a giant clamshell. Erin moves her arm out gingerly, rotating her wrist while clenching and unclenching her fist.

Erin. The armor.

"Ah! Sorry!" She extends her hands, and a small meter begins to fill. Once full, the armor and clothing of the man disintegrates into a multitude of glowing, strand-like particles which flow towards you. You watch as a good deal of them coalesce into a new a new right-arm, as well as a pelvic and abdomen guard, which look like they came straight from the player's armor. The rest of the strands fuse directly with your plating, bolstering your defenses. You use the opportunity to expand your frame, returning it to its original hulking, non-fitted proportions. Re-sealing Erin's arm, the girl is now almost entirely encased within you, with only her head, which is comically disproportionate to your frame, and long, frizzy, brown hair remaining exposed.
