Her Laptop

You search inside of the backpack for just a minute. Everything seems pretty ordinary. Books, pencils, Flash drives, a laptop. Pretty much everything a modern student needs for her classes. You seal the lost backpack up and search the crowd for the girl, but she's gone and not coming back. Oh well. You see her around campus at leas a few times, you'll almost certainly find an opportunity to give it back to her at some point.

You walk back to your dorm with a smile on your face, that even the shame of walking around in public with a Hello Kitty backpack can't wipe clean. You finally have an opening to start a conversation with her.

The dorm room is empty when you arrive. Your roommate, Todd, a pretentious hipster shit, wasn't in. He was either skipping class to smoke pot or skipping class to protest something. You don't know what the fuck he's ever up to.

You lower her backpack to the floor, and resolve to ignore it until the next time you see her. Apparently, however, resolving to ignore it really means opening it back up immediately and opening up her laptop. Who knew?

And yeah, her Windows 8 log in screen was searing bright pink too, but what did you expect? Now, faced with her log in screen, you find yourself facing the greatest challenge yet. Was she computer literate and knew to use a word no one would expect as her password? Or would she instead have the dumbest and most obvious thing possible.
