Follow Norbier to investigate

Stewart leaves his father’s side and follows Norbier to join in the investigation. Just as he leaves the throne room, he sees Norbier, standing next to the captain of the palace guards, talking.

Stewart approaches, just in time to hear the soldier say, “But that wasn’t the plan.”

“To hell with the plan, Dathan.” says Norbier. “We have to do it now or never. Somehow word has gotten out, and we cannot afford a moment’s delay.”

Stewart quickly steps behind a column, out of sight of the two men. “Norbier is a Enlightenment mole?” he says to himself in disbelief. He glances quickly at the two men, who have finished their discussion. Norbier looks quickly in both directions and hurries off to the left. The captain goes the opposite direction.

Stewart has to think quickly. Should he return to the throne room and alert his father to the identity of the traitor, or should he follow one of the men and look for more information and an opportunity to thwart their plans?
