Felix Eisen (M), an Elite Soldier making a name for himself

Out of all ways that I could die, this isn't what I really expected. I always thought I would die in the field, protecting my brothers and sisters from the enemy soldiers. Or making a last stand so that those same brothers and sisters can escape safely. But never my own Commander, with my own pistol. Yet here I am, floating in a black void, null of any color and sound.

That was until a flash of light, brighter than any flashbang I witness going off, blinded me. What follows is strange. A voice, echoing all around me, very feminine. Soothing, calming, and relaxing. That is until I started listening to the words she's saying.

"Go forth, my mighty warrior. The lands of the United York have gone aggressively Tyrannical, seeking to conquer lands that is rich in resources. My largest shrines is amost the Kingdoms they are conquering. Do my bidding, save my shrines, save my worshipers, and you will find yourself in high regards when your time comes. Go forth, and glory and riches will be bestowed upon you."

I would've done what she asks of me, but too selfish to follow full heartily what she wishes. This United York is going to cease, for there's only so much one governing body can control before it will collaspe. And that's a lot of lives going to perish. Thinking about it, might be far better off dealing with it on my own.

But now, why the hell do I have my gear? M4, M9 Beretta, a belt of Frags, two belts of smokes, three day rations, first aid and trauma kit, seemingly countless magazines for my guns, armor, and an old officers Saber. This... is good. Looks like I don’t need to quite primitize my weapons anytime soon. Not exactly sure what will entrail, but should prioritize conserving what ammo I have.

One of the first thing I notice, my gear aside, is that I'm somewhere along a well traversed dirt road. A town in the distance, and a forest directly ahead of me.
