Domestic confrontation

With the wedding ceremony settling down and the festive mood fading away, both of your wives now want to return back to their respective homelands, their duties and obligations calling them back. Still, a day before their departure, they wished to have a meeting with your supposed "Skyhold lovers" as people dubbed them.

"I cannot believe you have already found lovers of your own before you found us," Said Anora, pouting like a little girl, "It's not fair, keeping things like this from us."

"Well..." You said haltingly, "I was planning to tell you about them, eventually. I guess it just... slipped my mind?"

"Slipped you mind, you said?" Said Celene, her gaze chilling to the bone.

It was no less chilling when you see your official wives meeting the women who stood with you from the very start, their gazes meeting and sending electrical sparks flying.

"So you must be Seeker Cassandra, the Right Hand of the Divine," Said Celene, "It seems Divine Justinia chose well."

"I am flattered, Empress Celene," Said Cassandra unflinchingly, even in the face of the two Monarchs before her, "And I see Aiden has chosen his women quite pickily as well?"

"You dare call the Lord Inquisitor by name, and insinuate that Aiden is picky in his taste when he clearly is not?" Suggested Anora.

"I assure you, Your Majesties, Aiden's not that shallow of a man," Said Morrigan, "'Twould be the most insulting to state otherwise."

"And it's been a long time since we last saw each other, Morrigan," Said Anora, "Not since the time of the Fifth Blight."

"Yes, ten years to be exact," Said Morrigan, "Sure, I go visit the occasional noble's balls and banquets, but I've never been one for public events, so don't blame me for my long absence from Denerim."

"But you did visit the Winter Palace at Halamshiral," Said Celene.

"That was just one time," Said Morrigan, "Vivienne would be more at home in those stuffy balls and Palaces than I."

"The Witch does prove a point," Said Vivienne, "I myself can hardly understand how one can live in the wilds for as long as she; I prefer the clean, polish marble palaces of Orlais myself."

"Antiva would certainly never lose out to Orlais if it comes to fancy balls, palaces and mansions," Said Josephine, "Neither would it in fashion. By the way, I wonder, wouldn't your marriage with Aiden prove problematic if it were revealed?"

The tension in the air was palpable, sharp enough to cut like a sword, and you tried to say, "Ladies, let's calm down for a moment..."

"But they got to get married to you before we could, Aiden," Said Leliana, her voice dangerously low, "Why haven't you married us yet?"

In the face of that, you could only swallow nervously in response.

Then Leliana proved your unexpected saviour, producing two marriage certificates stamped with the the Divine's seal of approval, and who would ever dare go against the Divine's authority? No one, not nobles or bandits, and most certainly not Kings or Queens.

"..."

You had nothing to say to that.

"Although it pains me to share you with any more women, Leliana has given me reason to be proven wrong, dear. I daresay I no longer have any reason to oppose your lovers," Anora said with a sharp look.

"As scandalous as it is, the Divine's recognition of our marriage already helps us a lot," Celene said, holding Anora's hand, "I hope it doesn't have anything to do with the reports that I received about suspicious activities in the Chantry is it, Aedan?" She questions with eyebrows raised.

"Well....uhhh..."

You must have made the comical sight, stammering over your words as you tried to form an acceptable response, after which you gave up and raised your hands in defeat.

"Hah... you got me," You answer sheepishly.

"Well, it doesn't matter, as long as you make it out alive after all of this and come back to us and the babies too," Celene said, rubbing her belly.

"Of course. I promise I'll come back alive after this is all over," You said, "I simply have too much to look forward to."

"This goes for all of you too, mind you. I doubt Aedan will be the same person if any of you got killed," Anora said to your female advisors.

After a heartfelt goodbye along with long, exuberant kisses and a bit of ass groping, you see them off for their departure.

"I'm going to miss them for a while," You said, seeing the Ferelden and Orlesian caravans departing Skyhold.

"Aw, don't you have us for company?" Leliana teased.

"I'm sure you'll need us to care for your needs after a hard day's work," Said Josephine.

"They do have... a point," Said Cassandra, blushing slightly.

You merely smile in agreement.

It was good to be Inquisitor.
