Awakening

An eerly silence lingered over the wind-swept planes of Zlytherion as he awoke admist the black obsidian trees of the Great Forest of Chaos.

The world itself seemed to be taking a deep breath in in anticipation of what the creature would do as the strange swirling mass of chaotic energy opened it's ethereal blue eyes.

The spirit was large, but not ginormous. It's dragon-shaped head hardly grazing even the lowest of branches in his vicnity. Yet, even so, he certainly made for an intimidating sight.

Only when the creature suddenly transformed into a human did the world let out a sigh of relief in the form of a gentle breeze that blew against the figure's naked male form.

"Lion of Heaven?" The man/spirit called out in a gravely commanding voice, seemingly forcibly summoning a flash of light to his right.

"Yes? What is it?" The familiar angel, Ariel, asked in an irritated voice as the angel clearly hadn't appreciated all of the man's questioning prior to him actually taking form.

"What exactly do I do now?"

The angel looked at the man as if he was a complete idiot, and said, "Are you serious? Don't you have obscene urges to manifest now the Light has been stupid enough to bless you?"

The man chuckled at the man's words, before he rephrased his question, "So you're saying I can do whatever I want basically?"

"Level 0, huh?" The man grumbled before smiling, "I guess that just means I have my work cut out for me."

The angel huffed at his words before saying, "You know, if you really want to level up, there is a village nearby that is currently under attack by monsters."

"Truly? How convienient." The spirit man grumbled before smirking as he asked, "Where is this poor village in need of my help?"

The angel proceeded to point northwards and thus, after a bit of stretching his new muscles, the man transformed back into his spirit form and began hastily charging toward the village.

Carnage ruled the tiny village of Galso as goblins began pouring in through the broken gate.

The hideous green monsters were individually rather weak, but, when in large numbers, they had no trouble killing humans en masse.

Man after man fell to their crooked daggers as they swarmed the dirt streets, and broke in the rotten doors of the working peasants' houses.

Yet, most horrifyingly of all was that admist the bloodshed and the unending screams, countless goblins took a break from the bloody slaughter to indulge their insatiable lust.

No woman who got caught by their grubby hands was spared as each goblin went to town, their gross cocks thrusting in and out of unwilling holes.

Yet, as each new minute passed, and the scratching grew ever louder, and the church began to shake as goblins pounded against the wall, many felt their faith die as despair claimed them.

But, just as it seemed as though everything was lost, they heard a loud crashing sound as wood splintered before then the whole church was filled with the sound of screaming goblins.

It didn't take much imagination for the people inside the church to figure out what was going on outside, with many even smiling as the goblins who'd ruined everything met a grisly fate.

However, as they hard the last goblin shriek and dead silence once more hung over them, many who had got lost in shadenfruede realized that the same monster might now come for them.

No body moved and no body made a sound as everyone hoped whatever had killed the goblins would not notice them and pass on without seeking to feast upon them as well.

For many long minutes, this hope was fostered as nothing happened. But then, that hope was seemingly crushed as three loud knocks pounded against the door.

But it quickly returned as they heard a strange male voice call out, "All the goblins are dead. I've killed them. You may all come out now."

The village's chief, who had somehow been the first to arrive at the church, immediately got up onto his feet and rushed over to the door and ordered the guards to open it.

It took a minute or so to clear away all the debris they'd placed in front of the door, but once they had, everyone inside helped thrust open the door-revealing the form of their saviour.

But not all was as they thought as they all stepped back in shock upon seeing a small hut sized mass of magic with a dragonoid head staring back at them.

Before anyone could even think of closing the door in panic, the strange monster spoke, making the whole room stare at it in confusion.

"There is no need to be afraid, humans." The spirit bellowed to the quivering mass of humans he had in front of him as his eyes scanned over the lot of them, "I am a spirit."

"A spirit?" The seeming leader of the group, a stout and ugly man with a red beard, asked, both of his eyes going wide at this revelation, "Were you perhaps sent by the Light?"

The spirit laughed at the man's words before replying, "Partly I guess." Ariel had been the one to point out this village to him after all.

"But," He then added, making the villagers growing hope vanish, "I have not come without need of reward for my efforts. It it is only fair you pay me tribute for saving your lives is it not?"

The leader looked a bit startled by his words, but recovered admirably quickly before replying, "Of course we owe you tribute, great spirit. But we are poor and there is-"

"I do not desire a tribute of gold or silver, chieftain." The spirit bellowed, making everyone gulp as they knew what would come next, "I simply desire a willing woman with which to breed."
