At the nightclub with Mia -- welcome to her world.

Underneath the table, you stroke Mia's leg over her fishnet & nylon stockings, being careful with the lace at the front of her boot. When the tab comes, you pay it in full, with a suitable tip added in. After that, you & Mia leave the restaurant, and head towards the nightclub in Hollywood, which was carrying the latest "Club Cosplay" event. It's just like any other nightclub dance event, with drinks & dancing in full stride. The big difference, though, is that it's also like a mini-comic con. There are a handful of vendors on hand, either selling their artwork, taking photos of groups in front of a green screen, or offering repair services to people's costumes. Most of all, the people inside are of a nerdy nature, who also love to party.

Mia introduces you to some of her friends, either fellow cosplayers--men and women of all shapes and sizes, or the handful of comic artists, writers, and the few professional photographers. Even Alex from "Lionheart Images" is there, along with the receptionist, Shannon. When Mia rushes off to do one part of a club event, you talk to Alex & Shannon about various things, but it ends up being about Mia and her cosplay.

"Mia is likely going to be a major draw, and in high demand at WonderCon this Easter Weekend." Alex tells you. "Aside from a couple of panels that she & her fellow cosplayers are holding, she also has some new costumes that she's going to debut at the convention, and alot of photographers, including myself, are working out a schedule of photo shooting sessions."

"Not alot of time for her to be at her booth, to meet her fans, hmm?" You ask him.

"Hardly." He tells you. "When I saw her at Comikaze Last November, she had a long line of fans waiting to meet her at her booth, even on that Sunday. From what I've heard, most of her cosplay prints that she had available were sold, all of the pins she had available were taken, and alot of fans wanted to take photos and/or selfies."

"I heard she did the interview with the people of that cosplay magazine that Saturday Night." You tell him. "Is that true?"

"They did." Alex tells you. "Mia was reasonably exhausted after the very busy Saturday, but she did it for her fans. By the time the convention was over, she was more than ready to go home and sleep."

"She looked very sleepy, when she tweeted about it, thanking her fans." You tell him. "I hear she's going to travel the world this summer. Is that true?"

"That's what I've heard, even if she hasn't publicly announced it yet." Alex replies. "After WonderCon, there's Chicago, Houston [Comicpalooza], Phoenix, Anime Expo in Downtown L.A., San Diego the next weekend, and then she'll be in Tokyo, then Seoul. After that, she'll be in Atlanta [DragonCon], then Long Beach, New York, Comikaze, Melbourne, and then she spends the holidays in Thailand."

"That's alot of traveling for her." You tell him. "I hope her boss at 'The Silken Web' is aware of that."

"Oh, he's already aware of her busy comic con schedule, from what she told me earlier today." Alex replies. "Besides, all of those comic con promoters are paying her travel & hotel reservation expenses. I help stockpile her cosplay photo prints, so that she can sell them to her fans. That's where she makes the bulk of her cosplay money."

You nod to Alex, watching Mia get on stage to host a cosplay contest. If there was anything left of that shy, awkward little girl that she was, then it was long gone. Mia seems to be brimming with confidence, with charisma, and a love for cosplay.

"...Before we announce the winners," Mia speaks on stage, "I want to give a shout out to my valentine for this year. Boys, shine that spotlight on him, please."

You cover your eyes as the spotlight is shone on you, and just about everyone is looking at you.

"That, ladies and gentlemen, is Eric." Mia speaks, as you wave to the others. "He's not just my valentine this year, he's also one of my top fans of my cosplay and modeling, and he's also my boyfriend. This is his first time here at 'Club Cosplay', so give him a warm welcome!"

The rest of the night goes without a hitch, as you sip in some water, if you're not busy talking with some of the other cosplayers. Then Mia drags you to the dance floor, where you dance with her as part of a "Valentine's Night Couples Dance" segment. Other couples are there, dancing to the slow, rumba beat. It goes into a samba beat next, and you do your best with Mia. As it turns out, the other couples have moved to the size, giving you & Mia plenty of dance space on the floor. Now you're taking a good hold of her, doing spins, twists, and other things. Mia smiles brightly, keeping her glasses on her face as best as she can. Then you dip her low at the end of the dance, with Mia wrapping her arms around your neck. The people around your applaud and cheer, and that gets amplified, when Mia smooches your lips.

"Thank you, Eric." Mia whispers into your ear. "This will be a night I will always remember."
