#####

I was quite excited when I first opened the Stat Menu, but my eyes nearly jumped out of my head upon seeing my maximum magical attack. 792? I know that was only when using certain spells on humans, but that moment made me very confident in my choices. My other stats were quite decent as well, though they couldn't quite compare. I went through the already familiar abilities, until I reached my spells. It was nice to know if I needed to, I could tone down the spell I just used, but what I saw on my class spells was slightly disheartening. Every one listing some form of error, due to me refusing to worship either those twisted sisters or whoever that femboy's boss was. Before I could begin to grow concerned over that, a new window appeared before my eyes.
Achievement Unlocked: Overgrowth

Kill a creature using healing or growth magic.

Reward: Skill: Regeneration (passive) (life): will regain health over time at a rate of (magic attack/10) every second, at no mana cost. (does not take effect while targeted by some spells and effects, is treated like a spell for the sake of stat bonuses)

I stared at the window, once again bewildered by the sight before me. By my math, I would regenerate 39-40 health every second normally (depending on rounding), but, if I was in my polymorph, like right now... "79 health every second..." I voiced my thoughts aloud, still in somewhat disbelief. I shook my head to snap out of it, and closed the window. I had to get back to my current problem, my class was currently useless, and without it, I couldn't do much more that a normal monster, just causing things to grow to ****. "What would I need to do in order to get divine power, without relying on those useless 'gods'," I whispered, and the HUD responded.

New Quest: Birth of a new God

Acquire enough devotion to begin your divine ascendance.

Reward: Divine Power stat

I laughed to myself. Those stupid sisters gave me a boon that had given me the power to disregard them entirely, or at least that's what it seems. I sighed, already piecing together my plan in my head, all I had to do was find some peasant town, show them my power, and be worshipped, right? But something about that plan didn't feel right. I was a master of working behind the scenes in my last life, I shouldn't be so blatant. Hell, one of the hero's was an archpriest, so going around spouting I was a god would end with them coming themselves quite quickly, which I doubt I would be ready for. I thought to myself for a moment before my plan clicked. I was a priest, that could not be denied. Even if I can't use my class spells, I can still use Incur Growth, and no one would be able to prove that the power I used did not come from a god, as I would logically have no other source. It was perfect!

I smirked to myself, filling in the last details as I began moving back to the edge of the forest, after all, that was my best path of finding my "fellow people".

How goes the search for civilization?
