Chapter 4 by quiboune quiboune

What To Do Now?

Adventure, as a dame.

Living as a mob is no fun, and considering your new level and skills, it would be a waste of potential.

One of the things you gained after absorbing the Power Token from Galleon - a feat only possible because you're technically not a "hero out of the Hardmode" - was a mastery of Heavy Armor. Luckly you "found a high level armor lying around", something you intend to take full advantage of.

The first thing you do is kill a few mobs near your hiding spot and absorbing their bodies, increasing your mass to that of a human, which you take the shape of. Pulling the armor out of the hole, and slipping into it, you notice it is too large and not as high level as you thought. It does give an absurd defense against water, piercing and slashing damage, but you're naturally immune to them all, so you ditch the heavy pieces of armor on the ground.

Concentrating on your skin, you use Morph Stability and harden the external layer of your body. You remember the Ranger from before, the shape of her body and the curves she showed, even below her clothes, and try to replicate it. Your blue skin quickly turns opaque, rock hard and gives your body a hourglass figure with wide hips and thin waist, even gaining some breasts. You don't look too human, though. Your face is a flat surface with no details whatsoever, your joints are cracked, exposing the clear substance below it and your feet have no toes, making you look like some kind of doll.

It's more than enough for now. You did pay attention to your hands, though. Your fingers aren't as hard as the rest of the skin, making them have enough solidity to work as proper fingers without needing joint cracks. Just over your hand you have some kind of arm spike, giving your punches much more power than normal ones. Using your bare hands to hit might work for some time, but you'll eventually need new weapons. There are many ways of getting good ones, but none of them involve sitting at a lake, feeling your own new body. You have to decide now:

Where to go? What to do?
