Accept the Bribe

The leader of the mob looks at you appraisingly, and then seems to realize that anyone walking up to him so brazenly in the middle of a raid event is probably more dangerous than he should tangle with. He barks something in orcish at his fellow warriors and the form up around you, guiding you through the streets to where the biggest battle of the day is going on, all the highest level 'heroes' trying to take down the 'Warboss' of the raid.

You know this orc's countenance well, he is called 'Gorcabad Grim-Axe' and has been the 'Warboss' in charge of this raid for three months. A half dozen times and more you have seen him haul your sister off towards their fortress in the Nardiwen Highlands, and have chased him to the gates of town pleading for mercy three of those times. Never has he spared you a backwards glance except the first time.

"The terms are the same, 20,000 gold pieces for her safe return!" He called as he road out the gate where you could not follow.

Could not then, but now...

You watch as the squad you commandeered joins the fighting, hewing down a few lower level adventurers before being felled themselves, and take cover in the doorway of a burnt out tavern, waiting untill, after about 3 minutes or so, the last of the adventurers facing Gorcabad is laid low. The raid is almost over now, the orcs always retreat after 20 minutes and you stride up to the Warboss and plant yourself directly between him and the gate out of town.

In a clear strong voice you call out to the mighty orcish leader. "I have come to meet with your Clan Lord and pay my sister's ransom! Take me to your fortress to meet him, Gorcabad Grim-Axe!"

Slowly, almost as if he thinks he is hearing things, Gorcabad turns, and looks at you, then...
