Abandoned thrall

(Author's note: Hello everyone! This branch is gonna be a bit different in that there will be no re-spawning for monsters. Some of you may be asking "What? But this is a story about a video game" don't worry I know that, the monsters will re-spawn but they won't have the same story... basically they will be different every time, meaning, for example: Our hero meets a goblin and becomes friends with him, then that Goblin dies, the Goblin would not remember him AND the Goblin would have a different back story. Minor note on this rule: monster who live in one area and are evolved will go back to their original forms, meaning level one. Also, should a monster die in an area that is not their own, say a native volcano area monster visits a lake area and dies, their code is deleted and an entirely new monster spawns in its place in the ORIGINAL area. This all boils down to one thing: Our hero only has one life. This is the start of an adventure I'm looking forward to writing and one I hope you look forward to reading. Bye Everyone!)

‘Fuck… that hurts… Damn it.’ He thought to himself. He was currently nursing a fairly bad wound, a giant gash on his thigh.

‘Damn hero’s.’ Looking at him, you’d never know he was actually the servant to one of the most dangerous calamities ever to hit the starter zone. “Was” being the key word though…

‘The humans and their “hero’s.” Ugh, their hypocrisy makes me sick… Damn it… I miss you master.’ He used to serve a beautiful and kind noble vampire… until the humans assembled a massive **** of “hero’s” to take her down. ‘She wasn’t even dangerous! Damn it! She just wanted to live in peace…’ Anger coursing through him, he punched into the ground. Hard.

‘FUCK OFF!’ He couldn’t even curse them with his voice, without her magic to restore his vocal cords, he was reduced to communicating like a mere beast, unable to even properly articulate himself.

‘But… it’s been like this for… Damn, has it really been two years already…? I guess I should be used to it already…’ he thinks while letting out a mental sigh. No for him there was no getting used to it. Not until the hero’s paid their dues.

‘Well… I suppose there’s no use thinking about that for now, I need to get back home. No where safer to heal…’ pushing himself from the boulder he managed to find, he began his hobbling trek back to his cave, praying he didn’t run into any more hero’s along the way.

“Hiss…” He drew in a sharp gasp of air through his teeth at putting weight on his mangled leg. Knowing it would take quite a while to get back to his cave, he decided to check his status sheet. It always managed to distract him, at least for a little bit.
