A Zombie

You wander around aimlessly, your footsteps echo within your own mind. Your own world as your heart thumps hungrily, you feel like belching out everything inside your very being. You can't think, you don't know whats around you. Your mind strains itself to find food, you can barely think. Where were you again, you feel as if your slipping in and out of reality. And all the sudden, it hits you. Like a freight train you become aware instantly, like a snap.

You can feel the clothing, the rough fabric against your skin. Your torn dirty leather boots, the horrid rope that clings too tightly to your waist draping over your groin with a loin cloth. Your skin is a dark green, you feel the necrotic energies filling you with life, with existence. Its like a dose of pure adrenaline, addicting, salivating. You can hear the sound of the birds chirping, the crickets joining in them in a harmony of nature.

Its beautiful, perfect, but something disturbs you that brings you to reality. A clash of steel on steel, you didn't even noticed your eyes were closed. As you open your eyes you see moving things- people your mind seems to tell you. Green skinned ones and. . . pink skinned ones? They're fighting, steel clashes against steel as wooden sticks holding large blocks of steel swing in arcs and thrust with speed. Most making their mark as the dirt ground trampled over with only the tiniest blades of grass poking out from the chaos stained with blood.

An emotion spikes in you, terror, such a simple word to describe something that makes even the strongest of men shudder in fear and despair. It wrought you into this world, did it? You hated how it made you feel, you looked up, you turned, and than you ran.

You ran as far away from whatever that was as you could, smoke filled your lungs as you coughed, your eyes itching in pain as you feel like your losing air. Your heart beat thumps throughout your entire body as buildings around you burn with a raging inferno. You run and run and run, where are you going? You don't even know, you don't even care, all you can do is keep on sprinting.
