I turn my head to the side, "So what do we actually call this place we are in, well besides that one cave at the crater where weak fire dragon live?" I ask a fellow whelp that is moongazing with me, she was the only other intelligent being here who doesn't have the same response to any of my questions, response or actions.

She hummed to herself as she used the small arms she's been given to scratch her ruby red scales that layer her outer body while her inner scales were a nice onyx black. Her silver eyes darted around , most likely trying to remember something or thinking up something grandiose as an answer to my question. Her cute short snout with backwards black horns, which signified among our kind that she was female, which looked more like nubs at her current stage while small hardend ruby bumps went down her spine, between her small wings and down onto her tail which should have a spear head but instead is just spade not covered in scales and showed the pink flesh. She was lying on the back on our moongazing rock.

"I've heard some of the Celestial Vessels call it 'Karpirpa Crator', so maybe that's its name?" she mused this with her child like voice, not that I knew what a child was, just some knowledge I know somehow, "Why do you ask, Blue?"

"I just wanted to have some inner monologue, Moon does that to me sometimes. Also, They are Heroes Ruby, not Celestial Vessels."

I disliked the latter term because it said that all this slaughter of beings was approved by Higher Spirits, I knew that a few Gods agreed with these Higher Spirits, but let me atleast feel like not two whole realms of super powerful beings weren't there just to kill every living thing that isn't a 'Civilized' race in their eyes. Heroes just means that they did something special to earn a title. I know that I am in denial.

I'm a Blue Fire Dragon Whelp, which is why I was named Blue by Ruby who I named after her scales, which totally means that I'm being brought up to be a king and I'm now being a rebel by sitting here on a rock at the mouth of a cave far far away from the mountains where true Fire Dragons live, Well I wish I was. I'm instead mutated whelp meaning I don't drop better loot, but I am a small bit stronger then your average whelp in the fire-breathing department.

I'm a down right copy to my friend Ruby besides different scale colors, eyes and horns; blue outer scales, white inner scales, a dull gray for eyes and forwards facing nubs. The two of us are laying here in the moonlight watching the large blue moon and smaller silver moon that circles around the blue one. It makes me wonder what's on this whole world, which we could only see this small part of. The jungle surrounding the crater is filled with jungle type monsters and they don't take kindly to anything going near their territory.

I know this since I've tried multiple times to get to a zone where I'm not **** to come to face mindless level 40s if I go away from this sanctuary. I've respawned by the egg zone every time, frustrated and annoyed at the whole world before I cry a bit.

I give a small sigh I change my lying position where I still see the moons, which is quite hard for a whelp like me; we're like right triangles with dragon bits and squishy meat oh and don't forget 3D! Complaints about how I was made aside, I open up my status screen and wonder what to do about it.

Maybe I should train a bit more with magic and learn how to use it better, Heroes are no good in learning that since they just say "Use that spell." and it either "Casting." or "I don't have it.". Or maybe I can just lay down and watch the moons until morning, something interesting might happen... I hope.
