A quick search of the ground around her reveals no sign of the elven woman's gear, nor of how she might have gotten to the middle of an unfamiliar wood without it.

Casting her search wider across the clearing turns up little more than her initial search does. No sign of weapons, or armor, or the supplies a traveling holy woman might need. There aren't even any footprints or broken branches to suggest which direction she might have come from.

A glimmer in the brush at the edge of the woods catches her eye just as the search seems entirely fruitless. A flourite pendant on a golden chain hangs from a branch, twisting slowly in the breeze. The crystal is carved to resemble a beautiful woman.

As Neri studies the pendant, the sound of rustling catches her attention, drawing her eyes lower. The brush below the branch is dense and tangled. As she watches, the vines stir, twining around themselves in twisting knots.
