Included be low will be chapters detailing my version of the laws regarding the slavery of women, and the opposing factions that will be in conflict with one another throughout this story.

Two hundred years after the events that historians now called "The Cataclysm" it was still heavily debated exactly what had caused them. Political corruption? Over population? Climate damage due to an over reliance on fossil fuels? In truth, it was likely a combination of all of them.

As governments fell across the world, cities declared themselves sovereign states. Smaller towns and cities became beholden to the larger cites, the residents of which quickly erected walls around their cities in order to project themselves. As city states became more and more common, most of them within the old countries formed their own conclaves. Elected officials representing each city that would make laws affecting all of the cities within a given area. To avoid the corruption that had run freely in the old systems every sitting member of the conclaves could only serve one two year term before a new representative was elected. With this new system political corruption all but ceased to exist.

The damage to the climate was another matter however. As the Earth became less and less habitable resources became more and more scarce leading to periods of high tension, and open war between the cities. But, humans if nothing else are industrious and stubborn. In desperation, a team of scientist launched highly experimental technology into the atmosphere in hopes of tera-forming the Earth and undoing the damage that had been done.

It worked, but not before nearly half the planets population had been decimated by the change in the Earth's climate, and the constant warring between cities, the male population was hit particularly hard. In order to deal with this, women between eighteen and thirty-five were assigned to men eighteen and older for the purpose of breeding and population stabilization. Naturally this was met with resistance and in a rare act of true unity the conclaves of the world ratified The Female Enslavement Act making it legal world wide for men to own women. As a concession, wealthy women were allowed to pay for their freedom with a yearly fee.

Of course some couldn't pay or out right refused to pay the fee. As a result hunting and capturing free women quickly became a very lucrative business. Eventually three groups of slavers emerged as the superpowers within the slaving business. First came The United Federation of Slavers, or UFS. Secondly, there's The Amazons one of two groups of all female slavers. The third group is a second group of female slavers calling themselves The Women Against Amazoinian Mistresses or W..A.A.M. for short.

In addition to successfully tera-forming Earth the device did have four unintended consequences. First, The former Hawaiian Islands inexplicitly became uninhabitable to those with a Y chromosome. Second, the average bust size of women increased to a large C-cup. Third, males gained the ability to decide when their sexual partners would become pregnant. Fourth and finally the pregnancy period for women became a matter of weeks.

With the world's climate safe, a strong push not to allow such an emergency happen again, and the lack of political corruption led to the development of new clean energy sources resulting in a strange mix of new technologies resulting in clean perpetual energy for the cities, zero emission land, sea, and air vehicles, and new treatments that eliminated disease and hunger. Medical advances had in fact come so far the the average human life span lasting one hundred fifty years, usually maintaining a youthful appearance until around the last decade of life.

In the present day, The Female Enslavement Act is no longer enforced, but, the slavery of women has become such a part of the culture of the new society of Earth that it is still practiced globally today.
