This is an adult fanfiction based on the Gwendy Dolls from the 1998 movie Small Soldiers. This is a story I have been adding to for a while, and will continue to do so. Far into the heart of corporate gonglomorate Globotech, the CEO Mrs. Keegel sets foot in the office of two lead toy makers to talk about the direction of the next line of Heartland Playsystems products. During the meeting, one of the toy developers shows off his prototype for the Commando Elite, a boys' toy like no other. They move, talk, and above all, can learn with the help of the technology that Globotech gives its employees access to. He activates it during the meeting and Chip Hazard starts to salute and walk forward onto the table. Glancing at his surroundings, he picks up a pen near Mrs. Keegel's paperwork and hands it to her with a gentlemanly nod. Mrs. Keegel was certainly impressed and would like to implement this tech in a more known brand.

Her recent buyout of the toy company means expanding to new markets, and one of the most popular brands of toys on the market to day were the Gwendy Dolls. They have been a recognized name for decades, going through many different style changes, adapting to the time with new outfits, styles and proving girls can be anything they want. The supermodel dolls have also been at the center of controversy for their impossible beauty standards, causing many family stores to stop carrying them. Despite this, the Gwendy Doll line-up has been the most successful brand to date in toys. With the addition of an AI that lets these dolls learn and play with the children of the world, Gwendy won't just be a simple doll, she will be the ultimate toy.

With dollar signs in her eyes, she lets Larry Benson know that the Commando Elite won't happen, but the idea of an AI toy will be kept for the next Gwendy line. Taken back by this, he slumped back only to realize that his idea saved his job and may mean a promotion if he handles it well. She tells the developers that the product needs to be ready for shipment in three months, but as developers, it means needing to skip most of the product testing and limits for the AI. The team at Heartland immediately got to work implimenting the best AI Globotech had to offer, ignoring the finer details of the chips. These dolls would not only learn, but learn at a very rapid rate, calculating things like body language, facial expression and even the world around them. These toys don't need batteries and can run for decades at a time. All the user needs to do is activate them once with their trademark catchphrase, "She's very Trendy". It was a radical idea to put this technology into toys, but on the payroll, the team pushed it out to the public. The Gwendy Dolls await unactivated on the shelves for their new owners, but who is going to buy them?

Jake is a young adult who found information about these dolls online. His younger sister Amy, is a Gwendy fanatic, collecting nearly 50 different dolls over the years. Since Amy has been a fan since childhood, Jake knows one of these new AI Gwendy Dolls would be a perfect gift for her upcoming birthday.

Christy is a young woman who just wants to be herself. She's a bit of a tomboy, and likes hanging out with her boyfriend Alan. Her parents still see her as their little girl and buy her things like princess tiaras, colorful jumpropes and most recently the new Gwendy AI Doll to add to her small collection on the shelf.

Brad is a college freshman who recently got dumped by his girlfriend. Hearing about these AI Gwendy Dolls passing by some of the nerds on campus, he gets the bright idea of having one be like a living sex-toy and goes to purchase one.
