Hell on Earth

Onosk was banished from the physical realm for millennia. After a reign of terror, blood, and unspeakable lust, powerful spellcasters cast her down into hell and her into a deep slumber. Tonight, she was suddenly awakened and summoned into the world of mortals again by an ancient rite.

Expecting to find herself bound by potent magics wielded by clever humans that sought to control her, Onosk was at once surprised and delighted to see herself surrounded by a small group of young fools that had blundered through a spell, setting her free.

The humans were gathered in the wilderness at night, under the new moon. However, they were not as prepared as she expected. There were no sigils in place to bind her. They wore nothing that would protect them indeed; they did not even know they had succeeded. Onosk was summoned in her immaterial form, nothing more than conscious thought on the wind. True wizards would have been prepared for this. True wizards would have bound her into her material form, where she was more , with their magic the moment she arrived. They would have placed sigils on the ground that bound her in place and limited her powers. These fools, Onosk realized almost immediately, had no idea she was there. In fact, as she continued to watch them, she realized they had no idea what they were doing.

They were little more than children. Onosk could hardly believe her good fortune. She had slumbered for so long, and now the door to this world and her next reign of terror lay wide open.

There was only one impediment. She was weak. In the past, she had fed on the lust, fear, and domination of mortals. She had starved for so long that she was only a shadow of her former power. She knew how to change that.

First, she had to learn something about this new world. For now, she had learned much from her last defeat and would be more cautious of humans and their powers.
