Adventures on The Ring

The year is 3608. The Earth is a husk, dead. The remaining of humanity has been living on a megastructure built over a thousand years ago known as the Ring. A Dyson Ring, over 40 times the surface area of old Earth. Rather than a idyllic Utopia that was portrayed in games or media 1600 years ago the Ring is a continuous megacity. A civilization that has lost its forward technological momentum, people on the Ring are stagnated in a cyberpunk dystopia.

Cybernetic enhancements, and Gene manipulation has left humanity sometimes looking nothing like it's predecessors. Other than the multitude of cosmetic differences that can often be striking, the creation of the third gender is the most impactful. Futanari are about 12% of the total population and are quickly growing. Their increased virility, and their nearly unnatural strength and stamina makes them superior to males in many circumstances.

The Ring has no overarching governing body, the responsibility lying on a few massive Corporations. These Corporations make their own laws and keep the peace in areas under their control. In sectors contested by more than one Corporation, the day to day is often harsh as the clash between titans spawn chaos. Organized gangs take advantage of the situation, prolonging it if possible.

Sector 7 is one such sector. Sandwiched between an agricultural sector and an industrial sector, it has three Corporations fighting for supremacy. From Sector 8 is Altech. From Sector 6 is Trihand. And a newly formed local corporation, Bealite Inc. is centered between the two titans.
