Zack and Victoria are talking

Zack never had any problem to talk to Victoria without stammering before, but now that he was willing to bury the crush that he had on her, the young man found that he felt even more at ease while chatting with the sweet blonde. In a way, seeing her in Kurt’s arms was liberating.

It didn’t mean that he wasn’t immune to her charms though, as a matter of fact Zack already sneaked more than a few glances at her shorts clad legs during the fifteen minutes that he’s been driving. Victoria wasn’t a cheerleader like Heather or Ashley, but her legs were almost as great as theirs.

”Her ass sure is better than theirs.” He thought, but just as the thought entered his mind, Zack decided to move on to safer topics of conversation.

“So,” He said. “Kurt, huh?”

Victoria groaned. “Zack, please don’t talk to me about that peeing jerk,” She pleaded. “I can’t believe I’m stuck on his room for the rest of the trip.”

“Well, there’s no use crying over spilt milk now,” Zack said in a sympathetic tone. “How did you end up with him anyways?”

Despite having witnessed how she fell for Kurt and his fake jokes, Zack was curious to hear Victoria’s side of the story.

“There’s not much to say, really,” The green-eyed blonde answered. “I thought he was funny, then I felt a connection with him and when I caught myself, there I was doing something stupid and getting his pee on me.”

Zack chuckled. “You just have to make sure that it won’t happen again.” He said. “Guys like Kurt are like that, they simply can’t help but be douchebags.”

Victoria laughed. “Yeah, you’re right Zack,” She agreed looking at him with a smile. “Guess I should listen to Ash and Heather more from now on.”

For a brief moment, Zack wondered if Victoria’s opinion of Kurt would revert to the awe of yesterday if he told her about the prank that he and Heather played on them.

”She’s better off without him.” Zack decided at last.

Then Victoria looked at him with a curious expression. “What about you, Zack?” She asked. “I don’t recall seeing you with a girl since you broke up with Lisa.”

“Yeah, I’m taking it easy until we graduate, you know?” He **** a lie.

Victoria chuckled. “Good luck with that,” She said. “That’s what I was doing before Kurt and look what happened.”

A silence came up between them over the next few minutes and Zack couldn’t help but think about Lisa. Despite his crush on Victoria, he dated a few girls over the past two years, Lisa being the most serious of them. She broke up with him eight months ago, they were dating for two months at the time and Zack was quite happy with her until something very weird happened at Ashley’s eighteenth birthday party.

There were quite a lot of guests at Ashley’s house that night, with her parents being out of town she decided to throw a big party. Brandon brought a lot of beer and naturally everyone ended up drunk. On his way out of the bathroom, Zack stumbled into a closet and fell asleep there, and then a few minutes or hours later, a girl burst into the closet and seeing him there, attacked him.

It was obvious to Zack that the girl was drunker than him, and he being drunk did what he wouldn’t do while sober, he took advantage of the girl and had sex with her inside that closet. However, Zack was so drunk that he didn’t remember who the girl was.

”Hell, in that dark closet I could barely see her face.” He reminisced.

So he assumed that the girl was Lisa and carried things on. How wrong he was. When he woke up on the following day, the girl was gone, he was tired as hell and had an insane hangover to boot. He pulled himself together and went looking for Lisa, but found out from Brandon that she had already left.

So, Zack went to Lisa’s house and brought up the ‘closet sex’ topic. What he didn’t expect was for Lisa to become enraged and start hitting him, yelling for him to get out of her house and that their relationship was over. Stunned, Zack did as he was told.

After he thought for a while, he found that he wasn’t upset about the break up, since his crush was on Victoria and Lisa was just another one of his distractions to see if he could get Victoria out of his head.

What did upset Zack was that he was a virgin when he entered the closet and then wasn’t one anymore when he got out.

”That’s right, I lost my virginity when I was hammered beyond sense, with a girl that I couldn’t see and that probably doesn’t remember me anymore than I remember her.”

Zack hasn't drunk anything alcoholic again ever since that night.
