They go to the grocery store

It took fifty two minutes for Zack to drive from the cabin to the entrance of Azure Rocks and another six to get to a grocery store. He and Victoria got out of his car and entered the place. Once inside, they split up and Zack went to look for the charcoal as Victoria went to get the meat.

He had just found it when he felt a light tap on his left shoulder. “Now just when I think that you were deep into the woods,” A raspy feminine voice drawled. “Who do I found in a grocery store?”

Zack turned around only to come face to face with his smirking older sister Taylor. She was three years older than him at 21, an inch taller than him and her other physical traits she shared with her younger brother, like her blue eyes, the lean body and the dark brown color of her long wavy hair. She was on her third year at college, but had returned to Azure Rocks for Spring Break.

Zack looked puzzled. “What are you doing here?”

Taylor chuckled. “That’s the question you ask me after not seeing me for a whole day, Zachary? Really?” She said in a teasing tone.

Zack smiled, he and his sister were always teasing and joking with each other, but they loved one another dearly. “Sorry, it’s just that I didn’t expect to see you here,” He clarified. “We’re just buying a few things that we’ve missed.”

“Hmm,” She nodded looking at his hands. “Charcoal, huh? Looks like someone will have a nice barbecue?”

“Yeah,” Zack confirmed. “I would’ve invited you, but we’re already full. You know how these things work.”

Taylor playfully narrowed her eyes. “Sorry, little bro, but you don’t get to provoke me on this one,” She said. “I’m coming to Silver Lake on the weekend too.”

Zack raised an eyebrow. “Really?”

“Yeah, a friend of mine invited a few people to spend a few days with him at his cabin,” She explained. “That’s why I’m here, Hannah and I are checking a few prices beforehand.”

“Oh.”

Then Taylor looked around for a moment. “You said ‘we’,” She said. “There’s someone here with you?”

“Yeah, Victoria came with me.” Zack answered as they walked along the aisle.

Taylor grinned wickedly hearing that. “Victoria, huh?” She said teasingly. “Have you made any progress with her since yesterday?”

Zack half smiled, shaking his head. “Nope, quite the opposite, actually,” At his sister’s curious look, he elaborated. “Something that I don’t want to talk about happened and since then I’ve been revaluating my feelings for her. I’m sure now that it’s best that I move on.”

Taylor took a hold of Zack’s shoulder and halted his step. He turned around with a puzzled look. “What?”

“A little advice for my little brother,” The older of the Bishop siblings said. “If forgetting Victoria is what you really want, fine by me. But if it isn’t, may I remind you that you’ve spent two freaking years pining for that girl?” She asked, pausing before continuing. “And now a simple setback makes you want to throw everything down the drain?”

“It’s not like that, sis,” Zack argued, whispering so Victoria couldn’t hear him. “That setback that you’ve said was really disappointing.”

“It doesn’t matter, Zack,” Taylor copied the volume of her brother’s voice. “Like I said, you have to think and decide what you really want. If it is Victoria, you can’t give up or you’re gonna regret it for a long time.”

Zack was touched by his older sister’s concern for him. But before he could continue the discussion, they were interrupted by a duo that combined had a starring role in Zack’s fantasies for a good five years now.

“There you are, Zack.” Victoria said, cheerfully.

Walking alongside her, the incredibly beautiful, sex on legs, Hannah Woodsen. 21 years old, Hannah was Ashley’s older sister. Like her sister, her eyes were blue and her long hair was blonde, but hers was wavier than Ashley’s.

Zack couldn’t emphasize enough how sexy Hannah was, having been a cheerleader when she was in high school. Being best friends with Taylor, Hannah was at the Bishop’s home very often, making it no surprise that Zack developed a crush on her. It began when he was 13 years old and went on until he was 16 and Victoria replaced her as Zack’s main fantasy.

He always found Hannah a very nice person, she was making people laugh all the time with her wicked sense of humor. Zack remembered the times when he was a kid and she came to the house to visit Taylor, she always took the time to say hi to him.

She even was his first kiss, he was 14 and had broken his leg trying to play soccer with a few of Chloe’s friends. The next day, he was lying on his bed with his injured leg in a cast when Taylor and Hannah came into his room to see how he was. They’ve talked for a while to him and, when they stood up to leave, Hannah gave him a quick peck on the lips. He remembered sitting there on his bed in a complete stupor for a good thirty minutes.

Strangely enough, despite their older sisters being best friends for several years, Zack and Ashley only befriended each other two years ago through Brandon. Zack guessed that there wasn’t interest before with the two of them running in different social circles.

“Hi, Zack!” Hannah waved to him with a smile. “Long time no see.”

Zack returned her smile. “Yeah, I think it was on Christmas, wasn’t it?”

The older blonde nodded. “Have you told him the news yet, Taylor?” She asked, placing her hands on Victoria’s shoulders. “We’re going to be there on Saturday, possibly on Friday. We have to join the groups at least once.”

“Does Ashley know about it?” Victoria asked.

“I’ll call her later.” Hannah answered. “Don’t you guys tell her before I have the chance, okay?”

Zack and Victoria grinned and nodded. Then Victoria looked at her companion with worry.

“Zack, we have to get going,” She said with a little urgency on her voice. “I found the meat, but you have to help me get it.”

Zack nodded and, after they exchanged goodbyes and promises to see each other soon with Taylor and Hannah, Zack and Victoria went on to do what they were there to do. It was about ten minutes later that the two of them loaded the trunk of Zack’s car with their purchases and got on the road to return to the cabin.
