You flashed James, the coworker who invited you, a friendly smile. “Sure,” You say, walking side-by-side out to the parking lot, “That bar on 5th, right?”

“Well,” She said, downing another shot, “That’s my story, anyway. How’s your love life been, Jane?”

You thought back to Marcus, Luke, and the nameless stranger you sucked off in a bar not too unlike this one, and decided that the safe answer was, “Oh, nothing too exciting. I don’t get out as much as you do, Belle.”

Belle shrugged, “I like getting out and meeting new people. You should get out more. Oh!” She exclaimed in excitement, “We can go on a double-date this weekend! I know a couple cute uni students who invited me to a show this weekend! It’ll be fun!”

It had been a couple months since the last time you went on a real date, and you could tell that Belle really enjoyed hanging out with you. Of course, you thought, you had to make it through the night before worrying about the weekend, and while you hadn’t been drinking heavily, you noticed yourself ogling one or two of your male coworkers.
