You and Alice pre-game

After the comments that made you heat up, Alice does not push the subject and instead the two of you knock back drinks. The two of you sit and talk about what has been going in the last couple of days.

Alice remains playful, touching your arm when you wants to emphasise a point in the story, pushing your knee as she laughs at a joke.

Was this always like this? Was I just not noticing it? Or is this new? Your brain keeps asking as the two of you share a playful look. You are lost as to what the next step is, or even, if there is a next step.

You get through about half the Absolut and you feel loose and good. The nagging worry in your head has stepped into the background. It does keep pointing out that Alice is really fun, so athletic (she takes it way more seriously than you), and very pretty, but the bi-panic has subsided. You feel comfortable in her presence.

"So, shall we go to the party?" She asks.
