You Succeed!

The monitor-thing is floating closer to you, its coiling neck extending from the wall at an alarming rate, and the spinning screen drawing your eyes towards it.

No! You can't give in, you can't look at it! But as much as you struggle, you seem to only get more entangled...

Wait... that's it! It's like a Chinese Finger trap... the more you resist, or more hastily you proceed, the more entrapped you become.

With this in mind, you allow your muscles to relax, going almost limp, like a ragdoll. You relax and release all of the tension from your body and stop tugging at the strings. Sure enough, you feel yourself fall forward as the strings gently brush against your body.

As you reach the floor, it's now but a simple crawl on your knees and elbows to make it to the exit and move through the doorway into the next chamber.

"Well would you look at that, folks? We've got a wily one! She's smarter than she looks... at least for now! We'll see if she is still so clever after the rest of the maze has in store for her, though. Especially considering the room she's just entered... haha!"
