Yes, but she doesn't like it.

One idea came to Katarina, but she wasn't convinced that it would work. It was also a betrayal of her friendship with Gilly. Katarina really couldn't take on 4 of the demons at once though and she had no other ideas.

"Gilly, Mistress has something for you to do ok. Listen carefully," Katarina braced herself before she gave her questionable orders.

"Of course Mistress, I will do anything you say," Gilly said submissively.

"When I open the door you will run to Fat leaf, and tell the anybody there what happened here. There are demons in the village and Katarina is going to go after the ones that has captured Ysdella. Got it?"

Gilly nodded."As you wish Mistress. Will you reward me after?"

"Ahh. Yes of course," said Katarina, silently shaking her head. She opened the door and got ready to chase after her if the need arises.

Gilly ran out in the direction of the inn and Katarina watched the demons. The demons turned towards the bakery as soon as the door slammed shut behind Gilly. One of them pointed and shouted something incomprehensible and two of the demons who were leading Ysdella broke off and started to chase Gilly down the street. Ysdella had also turned to watch Gilly and she made eye contact with Katarina. her eyes were hard as steel which indicated she still had some fight left.

I need another distraction

Katarina watched from the window, hoping that the imps didn't see her as well. The remaining two imps started talking to each other again. Their guard on Ysdella relaxing somewhat. Katarina took this chance to open the door and rush out. She threw her hunting knife at the nearest imp but wasn't so lucky this time. It passed harmlessly and thudded into the ground.

Ysdella took her chance and she surprised the one holding her ropes by kicking him in the balls. He slumped over in pain for a moment.

Katarina charged with her spear.
