Well Do They?
Yeah
Garretha walks into the bar. There is music playing on the juke box. "It looks like a ghost town in here." she says before the crack of pool balls draws her attention to the billiards room. She makes her way through the empty bar room, inadvertently swinging her hips.
The first thing she sees upon entering the billiards area is two twenty something guys who were dressed like they just came from a rodeo. Hats, boots, jeans, western style long sleeve shirts and belt buckles! "Perfect." She says to herself. "That explains the vehicle in the parking lot being a pickup."
"Hello Beautiful! Can I buy you a drink?" One of the boys asks. "Why sure. If you don't mind." Garretha answers. "What'll it be, Ma'am?" He politely asks. "Whiskey and water, please. I'm Garretha (GARE' eth a)". "Pleased to make your acquaintance. I'm Mark and he's Jerry." Jerry tips his hat, "Ma'am," lining up a shot and then sinking two striped balls before missing. Mark's turn. "You play, Garretha?" Mark asks before running the table and collecting Jerry's ten dollar bill.
"Yes." She answers as her drink arrives. She downs about half of it as Mark declares, "Well lets have us a game then." "Ok." She agrees. Mark racks 'em up and asks, "What shall the stakes be, Sweetheart?" After thinking a bit, a sly smile breaks on Garretha's face. "How about this? If I win, I get you. If you win, you both get me!"
