Welcome to Preggo Village

The village around your castle is an exceedingly pleasant one, and you are clearly a well-liked prince within it, cheers and greetings going up here and there as your subjects individually notice your return. On the whole the busy little town seems happy, healthy, and, uh, decidedly on the pregnant side.

Obviously not the men, though you aren't entirely surprised to notice that the women seem to outnumber the males by nearly three to one. And you don't get the sense that you've inserted yourself into any of the established couples you spot contentedly going about their work. But all the same, you're greeted by a staggering number of girls as you and Matilda make your way towards the castle, returning excited greetings with a pleased smile and running your fingers across the burgeoning bellies shoved out at you as your absurd groin rumbles in blissful contentment. Well, you have to admit you feel the same way. The Big Buck needs to roam now and then, but its good to be home.

And you don't question the fact that this is home, even though you're very aware of the fact that sure, you've never been here before and fine, you don't really belong here. You know this place as well as if you'd actually been there for the getting to know it part.

You pass by a lively little inn and simply know that, while the sultry dark-haired cook does her work while possessively cradling the tummy you gave her, the pretty blonde barmaid has eyes for a bashful farmer so her stomach remains trim and the wave she gives you through the window is out of friendship and nothing more.

You just know that the toned, tall blacksmith has taken on a handful of extra apprentices before you even hear her barking out instructions from beyond the anvils, sparing the child she carries from the constant heat of the forge. She calls out cheerfully to you before roaring for her charges to get back to work, a bit softer and better rounded than you remember her being and wearing the look very well.

And even if they hadn't all gathered at the door to greet you, you would have known that the seamstress, her three grown daughters, and her two shopgirls would all be straining their well-made dresses with large baby bulges and fat, milky breasts. They make excellent hats, after all, and given Roan's love for headwear it's unlikely that there's a decent hat shop within three hundred miles that Roan hasn't directed you to flood with your potent seed. You pause for a moment to catch up with them, and by the time you start off again all six women sport two wet splotches on the fronts of their overtaxed bodices.

Matilda turned red as soon as the first knocked up village girl presented herself, but she seems to have gone through embarrassment to a sort of awed disbelief. She stares back at the flustered seamstresses as you continue on, seemingly unable to fully comprehend the breadth of your...efforts. She clears her throat. "You've, ah...been busy."

"True enough."

Something seems to strike her. "Though...shouldn't there be more babies around? I didn't really see any."

"Most of the women in the village were relatively recent developments. And all of the children have standing offers from a number of other nobles to be brought up and squired within their realms. So, some of the mothers have already moved on, to acclimate themselves to their new homes. Better opportunities for them, and it forges stronger ties with our neighbors. Good all around."

Wow, that's maybe the longest statement You/Horsedick has ever made. Guess if there is one thing the taciturn prince doesn't mind droning on about, it's his children. Either way, Matilda seems impressed. "I see. I'd always been told most princes don't give a lot of thought to their...less-noble children."

You shrug expressively, giving the princess a smile. "Well, not me. Want to see the castle?"

She returns the smile with a nod, and with that she seems to have accepted the situation. Wow, uh...that was painless. Is Matilda really just super chill, or is there something about you and all of...this that just seems reasonable to the people of this world? Well whatever; you can figure this all out later. Right now you've got to explore your castle, and that is a pretty goddamn awesome sentence.
