"Yes, I want to merge..." Aoi was getting excited. "With you, or... someone else, nee-chan. She hummed, eager to merge herself with someone. "May I?"

Gesturing to her sister, Kyo placed the necklace in Aoi's hand. She pressed her thumb on the gem. Lifting it off revealed a mandala-like symbol. It glowed, causing the gem to split into two equal halves. She removed the chain from its hook, replacing it with a new one. Kyo proceeded to do the same. "They look great with that symbol, Aoi," said Kyo. "Puzzle pieces!" She giggled. Aoi smiled nodded as she tried to hook the chain around her neck.

"All right, let's split up. That way we can find a fusion partner for each of us. Good luck Aoi. Let's hope your shyness won't give you any problems." In a sing-song voice, Kyo left her sister alone. However, Aoi realized her mistake.

"Finally, I made it!" said Scott. "Man, I'm starving." Scott groaned. He needed something to fill in the gurgling void.

"Where are the Twinkies? I can smell them from here. Huh?" Scott's phone vibrated in his pocket. His mother was texting him. "Ohh, mom."

'Scott, are you okay over there? I hope you're not bored.' said Nicole. Scott smiled, replying to her message.

'I'm okay mom. Thx. I just need to eat something.'

Scott cracked a smile. It's true that he should've been with his family. However, he just needs some alone time. He was about to ask a girl out, only to have dozed off somehow.
