Okay, that's something you should probably be worried about. But first, you need to know which thing you purchased. You quickly tap the confirmation button on the screen to clear it, showing your profile. And in the Gems section:

That's... that's not helpful at all! That's more than you had before you made the purchase! You did just earn some gems according to that achievement pop-up, but why in the world doesn't it just say how many you earned?

That's fine, it's fine, everything is fine. You can still salvage this. There has to be a transaction log, right? Why wouldn't there be?

Several minutes of clicking around on the app later, you realize there's no transaction log on this thing. You even tried to go back into Morgan's perk store, only for a pop-up to inform you that you've already made a purchase for this profile today, and to check back tomorrow. You're beginning to suspect that his supposed "gift" was, in fact, designed to infuriate you. You've never had anything good happen to you without any strings attached before, so why would you expect any different from a magical phone app?

With a sigh of defeat, you finish toweling off and head back to your room, though you also make sure to shout down the hallway for Taylor. As much as you'd rather ignore her and leave this whole damn morning behind you at the moment, you can't really afford to piss her off. Her name's on the lease, after all, and she's mostly letting you live here as a favor because of your familial situation. It's not like you're even ever been particularly close. You have a feeling she's only tolerating you moving into her apartment out of pity. Being as naturally curious as you are, you steal a quick glance at her profile in the app.

Okay, maybe taking a look at her profile was a bad idea. That was definitely more information than you required. You never needed to know your cousin was a size queen, or that she was going through a dry spell. Before all this, if someone showed you a sketchy app and said that they could magically change the people around them with a click, you certainly wouldn't accept the possibility. And you remember from that info screen that the app has some way of making sure people "don't find anything strange" about the changes from the app. Who knows what that means exactly, but it certainly doesn't fill you with confidence.

The best option you have at the moment, you decide, is to keep a close eye on Morgan and the app today. And to keep out of any of the purchase pages, lest you accidentally buy something else. If you notice Morgan being more nurturing, attention seeking, or... busty, then you'll know which one you bought. And if you keep a close eye on the app, maybe you'll notice more notifications that might clue you in to what's going on.

The plan for today, then, is to play the waiting game.
