The Nursery

Lauren decided on the nursery. Less chance anyone would be there, and she did NOT want her sister to see her in her naked, frazzled state. So she scampered bare across the roof, her feet blackening from the filthy tiles.

Normally Lauren would be terrified, up two stories on a roof with no protection. Right now though, she hardly cared about that. Her whole mind was occupied with terror at being discovered, with humiliation and nervous fear of exposure. She crawled over to the nursery window. There were no bars, which made sense. The mansion had a full staff, and the gate allowing entrance through the tall metal fence had a code and several cameras.

Lauren dug her nails at the edge bottom of the closed window. After a bit of fumbling, she managed to get her nails under the window and pry it up a bit. Lifting it the rest of the way she looked in nervously through the curtains, which were white lace with teddy bears and balloons.

Lauren breathed a sigh of relief when she saw no one inside. So, for the second time this day, she crawled through a window butt naked! This time though, she was going in, not out. She scrambled awkwardly, falling in a pile to the carpeted floor.

She lay, gasping for breath for a moment. Then she looked up. Her Aunt often watched her families kids, and had this nursery for that reason. Lauren had some vague recollections of being here at a very young age as well. The room was painfully kiddie, with pony wall paper, a crib, stuffed animals everywhere, a changing table and nothing else of note.

Lauren scrambled up on bare shaky legs, and ran to the door to lock it. Only, of course, it didn't lock. It made sense. Why would you lock a nursery? Still, she wished it did. Putting her ear to the door she could hear the party a mere hundred feet away. She was naked, and her house had over a hundred people in it! She needed clothes before she was discovered!
