The Litchen

The Litchen are the least developed Race on Mars, said to be closer to parasites than coherent beings, The Litchen actually didn't hold a place in the Scarlet-Empire until the beginning of the Age of steel, when the Litchen Tribes had evolved into a new degree of intelligence, however, The Litchen though possessing intelligence are so primal that it is barely noticeable, true a Litcher can learn the common tongue, but they often do not bother, struggling to speak any other tongue than their own language which is difficult for any other Race on Mars to Learn. The Litchen's part in Martian society is small, and that is to keep to their own business, The Scarlet-Empire keeps the Litchen at an arms-length, leaving them to revel in their "Little society" if You can call it that, in the Empties where no-one roams, never leaving under any circumstances as The other Races are seen as dangerous in their eyes, any kind of Litchen raid is often done to settlements close to the Empties, even then the Empire tend to stay away from the Litchen for reasons Unknown to any... save for of course the Immortal-Empress.

Litchen are a kind of Insectoid/Humanoid beings, having smooth tough skin that tends to be red-orange in color, allowing them to blend in with the constant dust storms in the Empties, they Have four arms, two on each side, as well as Three fingers that have an especially strong grip, Litchen have smooth curved forms, and are known for wearing tribal masks, a tradition oddly mirrored by the Crimson, however also like the Crimson, nobody truly knows what's under that mask, be it Terrifying monster or Hidden beauty.

Since so little is known about the Litchen in Martian society, it is unclear on how their societal Tribes work or on their specific number in the population, but like with all things, The Scarlet-Empire strives for control and they ache to find a way to take a hold on the Litchen people without unleashing them on the rest of their Empire, a venture unsuccessful thus far bare in mind.
