The Glyph of Additio (Addition)

The Glyph of Additio is one of the more common of the 8 Mysterian Glyph, it gives one the ability to gift their traits, Power and strength to matter with a touch. The Tribute Glyph is often underestimated among Mysterian Warriors as it's ability to pass power from one's self and into another is seen as a poor quality to boast on a battlefield, However, wielders of the Tribute Glyph (known as Benefactors) are deceivingly crafty and versatile, utilizing their abilities to reinforce weaponry, taming dangerous beasts and embedding them with compounded strength to battle for them and having the unique ability to heal wounds and restore the injured.

Benefactors are well known on Mars for their healing hands, transferring energy to boost the rate at which a person heals, however, despite what people think, when a benefactor gifts energy to other matter, it does not have to be at all well-intentioned, in fact, a Benefactor can pass on faults also, passing their weight and fat into another, passing sickness' even poisons ingested prior... but some of the stories about Benefactors that Have unlocked the fullest of the Glpyh's potential are where underestimating one of them can mean an instant and painful ****.

Word around town is that Master Benefactors do lurk in the shadows, hiding their powers and utilizing the assumption that they are weak to their advantage. Imagine, one day You are out in battle, sure people are flying around, blowing things up with their hands and creating giant weapons from a slab of iron that they carry around, but otherwise, nothing is out of the ordinary... but suddenly, You cannot speak, cannot breathe, Your skin begins to swell with Cancerous growths and tumors, Your blood ignites and literally explodes from every orifice and then plop, You're dead, You see the Greatest of Benefactors do not require touch to use their abilities, not only that but they don't just pass on the energy that They have within, they can push further than that, actually over-healing a person until their bodies lay in a puddle of flesh, blood and puss, oh but it gets worse, for the true masters of Additio can alter the Energy that they pass, while passing it, turning a Bad quality into a good, or more importantly, a Good into a bad... how I do love Horror stories!

The Glyph of Additio appears as a large plus surrounded by circular waves, a peaceful sign of course, one regarded as a mark of safety and healing, or so people think.
