The Frisbee

You grab the frisbee and leash up the dog. You figure a trip to the dog park will tire him out the fastest. Of course you didn't think about how much stronger Georgie is than you. Thankfully, the dog wants to go to the park so he basically drags you along with him without incident. Once you get there you start throwing the frisbee.

Georgie chases after it and brings it back. Again and again you do this until the sun starts getting low in the sky. A few more people and their dogs have shown up to the park and you decide it's time for one last throw and then you'll head back. You wind up and give the frisbee your best toss. It is going far and Georgie is fast after it. That's when a gust of wind catches the frisbee and takes the toy to new heights. You watch in dismay as the frisbee sails into the wooded edge of the dog park. Georgie, of course, chases after it and disappears from view.

You wait a minute, but the dog doesn't come back. You call his name, but nothing. Finally you realize you'll have to go find out what happened to him and the frisbee. You hustle over to the wooded area and try to get a glimpse of the dog but the bushes and undergrowth in the area is too thick to see through. You think you can hear Georgie whining, but when you call he still doesn't come out. Finally you groan and trudge through the brush to get to him.

You don't have to go far before you see him. You get through the bush and find Georgie digging at the fence line.

"Stop that Georgie." You cry, but the dog ignores you. You see that the frisbee is stuck in a tree just on the other side of the fence. You clip the leash on Georgie and try to pull him away, but he desperately wants the frisbee and you doubt you're strong enough to get him to leave it behind. You assess the situation and realize the frisbee isn't that high up in the tree, you really just need to get past the fence. To do that, there are really only two options. Crawl under the fence where Georgie was digging a hole or hop over the fence. The hole wasn't yet big enough for the dog, but it's actually already big enough for you. The fence doesn't seem hard to climb, however you are about a foot shorter as a girl so everything is a little taller than you're used to.
