The Aten

The Aten are considered to be the leading intellectuals in the Higher Races, often taking places in scholarship and positions of wisdom, they are a bright, collected people that enjoy the exploration of new knowledge, though apart from their vast intellect the Aten often have a very short attention span, leading them to disregard older histories in favour of anything new, another problem with The Aten people have an inset arrogance due to the Empire's favouritism of the Race.

The Aten are a Semi-feline race, being an average height of 5 and a Half feet to 6ft tall, have vertical slit pupils and have long manes of thick hair, the top half of their bodies are covered in a thin layer of fur while the bottom half is mostly smooth. An Aten has long ears, the top half of the face is slightly furred, they have smooth feline noses with the mouth and jaw being smooth with large pink lips.

The Aten are an all-female race, being able to reproduce via a unique Genetic imprint, meaning simply that they require assistance to reproduce either from a Male or Female member from another compatible humanoid race or from one of their own kind in order to get pregnant though as with all the Martian inhabitants the chances of becoming pregnant are unfortunately very low.
