Sunshine

"Charlie?" Jane shook You too life, it was warm under the covers of Your bed and the sun shone through the large window, illuminating everything around You. Jane, dressed in one of Your Blue hoodies and some jeans, watched You with loving eyes as You sat up from the sheets "Feeling any better?" She sat beside You, rubbing Your back while You rubbed Your eyes awake "Yeah, I think so anyway." Her lips met Your cheek, her Fruity smell was comforting, even more so the passionate Kiss that came afterward, Your tongues playing with one another before She handed You a hot cup of coffee.

Things were relatively normal, getting ready for Class, having a shower, putting on a white button-up shirt and some baggy blue jeans. You slipped on Your glasses and went to look in the fridge for something to snack on, "Cold Pizza for breakfast?" Jane asked, "Well I'm open to suggestions."

"I was thinking a Warm Croissant with Your beautiful Girlfriend?" it was strange, she seemed to radiant, so happy, Jane had every reason too it was a lovely morning, waking up with her new boyfriend in the Golden suite, eating Croissants with You while sipping coffee at the Campus Cafe... Though You weren't really eating, more like gorging, and guzzling coffee like a maniac, "Hungry are we?" she asked as You finished Your fourth Croissant, gripping the Your now third cup of coffee in anticipation to taste it "And Thirsty!" You said happily, gulping down the caffeinated beverage like it was the nectar of the gods.

You and Jane walked arm in arm through the Academy courtyard, getting weird stares from other students as You did, though this did not bother You much at all, You felt happy, careless and sure of Yourself, it certainly was a first.

Jane was talking and talking and talking; background Noise.

As You entered the hallway, even more people stared, talking amongst themselves, whispering and gossiping in tones Breaths sharp and hushed yet harsh and Cold, lips batting and lungs breathing and Words cutting through the air like Knives "Agh" Your eyes pressed together as the sound boomed in Your ears, the ringing bashing on Your eardrums for but a second before You opened Your eyes again "Charlie." Jane looked at You confused, "Come on we're gonna be late for Chemistry." people were staring and talking still but, it sounded normal again, standard murmuring.

You got to class like You would any other day, taking a seat near the back of the Chemistry Lab with Jane next to You. Dr. Ito stood at the head of the class, his Grey hair tied back into a ponytail and a lab coat on, his face was round and happy, a large white smile on his face, his big green eyes looked at all with joy as everyone took their seats, his Voice; accented in a smooth Japanese tone "Settle down everyone, settle down now, Mr. Jenkins enough faffing around, okay, good..." He was a round-bodied friendly man, a more gentle and understanding teacher You couldn't ask for "...Now before we begin today I would like to introduce You to a new arrival in class today."

When You saw her, walking in, adorned in a white lab coat, it took You a moment to register who it was You were seeing. Shoulder length crimson hair, Skin like snow, lips crimson and Eyes the color of melted gold, Val smiled at the class as Dr. Ito introduced her "Meet the Lovely Valarie Drinkwell, she is a Student from Wallacia come to study under me and Mrs. Ito, she will be my Assistant in today's class since Mrs. Ito is off sick so if You have any questions..." he glanced at Henry Jenkins again and sighed "When, You have any questions, call on her and she will help You. Now, how about we get started!"

Dr. Ito began, whether what he was saying was important or not, did not occur to You, Your attention was drawn fully and wholly to the woman You had met the night before. Your wrist began to ache, the skin on it pulsed and You began to sweat.

Just to Your right was the large set of windows that let the sun in, fully open and allowing the rays of the open sun inside, As You stared at Val the beams of Gold covered You completely, the heat beginning to make You sweat.

Val sat at the front of the class, facing everyone and looking carefully at the room, almost like she was scanning for something, You were sure that she didn't blink once, her Golden eyes sweeping the room, until of course that they met with Yours, The Crimson haired woman had been smiling happily since she walked in, but she had an altogether different smile when she saw You, her eyes fixing on You tightly.

You tugged at Your collar, the heat from the Sun becoming uncomfortable on Your skin, Her eyes never left You, never breaking from Yours as Your stomach churned beneath Your desk, "What's up?" Jane whispered from beside You, her muttering was ignored everything was background noise all that You could do then was Writhe under the discomfort of the heat and stare into the eyes of that strange woman. "Do You feel sick again?" Dr. Ito seemed to notice Jane's whispering this time, "Something that You would like to share with the class, Ms. Watson?" Jane frowned pointing to You, shaking and sweating in Your seat, Dr. Ito paused, noticing Your shaking form, in the corner and looked at You concerned "Mr. Drake, is everything okay?" You didn't hear him at first, still shaking, eyes frozen still on Valarie.

Dr. Ito walked a little closer, looking at You with worry in his Green eyes "Charlie." he clicked his fingers at You and it did the trick, Your eyes snapping to the Teacher after jolting from the shock "S-Sorry sir, I..." You stammered, Your jaw shaking as everyone around You began to whisper weirdly "You don't look well my friend, how about You head to the nurse's office?" You could not speak, the heat being overwhelming and Your body slaving to the pitiful shakes, You nodded weakly standing from Your seat and wobbling to the front.

Dr. Ito looked to Val and spoke quick "Make sure he gets there okay Ms. Drinkwell?" You froze, the Golden eyes looking at You with a sinister look at their Heart "Of course Dr. Ito, I'll only be a few minutes."
