Stuck in the barrel

Katarina was out for a long time. She was vaguely away of a few things. A laugh here, a cackle there, the unmistakable rattle of travel by wagon. Her muscles ached. It felt like when she managed to sleep on an arm for the entire night. Except that this time it was like that for her entire body, head excluded.

Her eyes snapped open and at first she thought she was blind but then realised she was in pitch darkness. She also felt something in her mouth, it was wet and soft. She tried to bite down on it and it compressed down to a point but prevented her teeth from touching. Feeling around with her tongue it felt like a piece of wet cloth. She was gagged! She started to struggle for a few moments but stopped when she realised she couldn't budge the gag or move her arms or legs.

I had just finished my chain-mail... there was a storm, AN IMP! she had jumped into one of the barrels after she dealt with the monster.

It slowly dawned on Katarina that she was stuck in that same barrel as she felt along the sides of her prison. Sure enough she could feel the damp wood beneath her fingers. Someone must have emptied the thing because as Katarina recalled she had jumped into a barrel of water to cool herself off as she...She could almost feel the heat coming off her cheeks as she blushed. Someone had also cut a hole into the lid of the barrel and somehow placed it around her neck.

Abruptly the motion of the wagon ceased. There was a bunch of shuffling around and shouting for a moment before a beam of light cut into Katarina's vision. The cloth covering the cargo was slowly pulled away revealing that Katarina was among the cargo. Gilly was there too, bound in rope beneath Katarina; apparently sleeping. Ysdella also, she wasn't bound but there was a strange pink mark just below her stomach. Strange, did she always have that? Ysdella also slept, she was on her back with her light blonde hair still tied up in a ponytail hanging out to the side. When Katarina looked closer it seemed that there was some sort of crusty white substance on her face...

There was quite the commotion outside and Katarina's eyes widened both in fear and awe when she looked up. They had stopped just outside a rather large manor. They couldn't have travelled far from Pinehurst. She'd never heard of such a large building in the area. A few figures came into view and Katarina gasped. The imp that had attacked her had hopped up onto the wagon. It made gestures and pointed to various things amongst the cargo. Other demons of various sizes and shapes came and took the cargo away piece by piece. Most of the demons were imps but Katarina saw some other taller ones. Dread filled her and she felt like she was going to be sick.

When the imp who seemingly was in charge got to Katarina he smirked at her. Where she had broken its jaw earlier was just left with a bluish bruise. It must have some sort of healing ability.

"Welcome slut, to the Xandius Manor. I would give you a tour but that will be unnecessary for you. You won't be seeing much of it where you're going. I'm going to make you pay for what you did to me. And I'm going to enjoy it."
