You spend a few minutes making sure that all of your things are properly packed and ready to go before departing.

You decide to follow the road down the mountain to avoid getting lost. The whole while, you are wary of your surroundings, watching for any signs of the Infected.

Towards the middle of the day, you find yourself standing at a scenic outlook, looking down over the city.

As you look, you notice a small area between where you are and the city that seems to have several houses with smoke coming from their chimneys. Could there be someone there? Could there be survivors? You wonder.

For a minute, you wonder what you should do. Will you head into town the way you had originally intended? Or do you want to make a detour to investigate the houses?
