Something seemingly easy.

Zira finally awoke hours later, sore and sticky. A long bath and fresh new set of clothes were the first thing on the agenda. After that came mopping up the mess Dumand had left behind, as well as about a dozen scented candles to somewhat mask the overwhelming smell of sex that permeated the air. By the time Zira's shop no longer looked like the scene of an orgy, it was already well into the afternoon. Zira had barely had time to sit down from her cleaning before there was a knock at her door.

"Zira, it's me! I'm ready for my next quest!" Lilly called through the door.

Torn between vengeful glee and outright disdain, Zira opened the door with a huge fake smile plastered across her face. "Your highness! I'm so happy to see you, please, come in!"

Zira led Lilly back to her table with the crystal ball. Taking the same seats they had taken the day before, Zira went about conjuring up the princess's next "quest." She knew exactly what she wanted to show Lilly, the perfect cursed item guarded by the perfect creature to enact payback for her rough fucking at the hands of a giant demon.

A glimmering ring appeared in the crystal ball, a beautiful piece of jewelry even by royal standards. Something nice enough that its beauty alone would entice Lilly to accept the quest.

"Behold, the Ring of Godiva!" Zira intoned ominously. "A relic of great power! Long thought lost, my magic points me in two directions. It is either deep within the abandoned mine to the south of town, or... somewhere in the city sewers? Your highness, I understand if the idea of such unpleasant places makes you change your-"

"I'll do it!" Lilly declared. "An adventurer isn't afraid of anything, right? I'll have that ring for you before you know it!"

With that, Lilly hopped out of her seat and marched out of the shop. Zira couldn't believe her luck. The stupid girl hadn't even thought to ask about what kind of monsters she might face! She'd find the ring regardless of her choice, as Zira had left out the fact that there was more than one such ring in the world. Sitting back in her seat, Zira smiled as she imagined the trouble Lilly was marching herself straight into.
