Shopping with the sisters

A few days later Lauren was getting ready to leave on her routine shopping trip when her sister approached her.

"Hey, can I come with you?" Vanessa asked.

"Why?" Lauren asked suspiciously. Vanessa never had asked to do anything with her before!

"I'm not buying you anything..."

"Oh, that's fine." Vanessa said. "I just thought it would be fun to tag along. Besides I'm bored! I never get out fo this place."

Lauren studied Vanessa, then shrugged.

"Fine." Lauren said. "You can help the driver carry my things. Just don't get into any trouble."

Vanessa rolled her eyes. Lauren was only two years older, but had always acted so superior! Now that she was rich? Well, it had gotten out of hand.

Vanessa followed Lauren out the door. She turned back, seeing the maid and her mother watching from upstairs. Vanessa threw them a thumbs up, then headed after her sister...
