Chapter 14 by Javalar Javalar

Does Gilly resist or submit?

She resists... and something unexpected happens.

Must. Resist.

Gilly openend her eyes and suddenly felt hot rage burning inside her. The plant was about to brainwash and devour her. She was... so aroused. She wanted to... Fuck. Fuck! No! No! There was no way she could let this happen. No. Way.

A fire was boiling inside her, a fire of anger and of lust, of hot resistance and of passion. She would not allow this plant to defeat her and her friends. Then, all of a sudden, flames burst from her body. Searing hot, blue flames. The vines coiled and burned, retreating from her and leaving her free from its grasp. The plant shook its flower head as if it felt pain. Strangely, Gilly should have felt pain. She was... literally burning! But she felt nothing. Her skin was cool, her mind peculiarly clear.

Gilly stood up. The vines had ripped parts of her leather shirt apart and had already torn rips into her leather trousers, but she didn't care. Blue fire sprang from her hands, burning the vines on the ground. There was a hissing and rustling as the vines seemed to retreat hastily, but they were, after all, still plants. They couldn't run or hide from Gilly's cold fury. Neither could the gigantic plant. Gilly saw the vines release Katarina and then Ysdella, but she directed her fire relentlessly towards the plant itself. Blue flames engulfed the stem and the lion's head. Soon, red and yellow flames sprung from the stem itself and the plant slowly burned and withered away. There was a shriek of anguish in Gilly's head as if the plant tried to communicate one last time and then there was - silence.

Gilly gasped for breath, suddenly feeling exhausted as if she had been running for a day. There were black spots in her vision, everything started to spin, and she fell to the floor, collapsing. She thought she heard somebody shouting and hands on her, supporting her head.

"What was that?" her friend shouted. "The fire! What...?"

"I don't know," Gilly mumbled, dizzy. The black spots danced in front of her eyes. "I think... I think that was... me."

Darkness.
