Chapter 159 by [KingDucky] [KingDucky]

What's next?

Secret Admirer.

"Father..." The world buzzed unaturally, rippling in it's smoke like Aura: a Dracula's dream.

But you were not in The Vampire-King's chamber anymore, now you stood once again in the Great hall, where all Dracula's enemies were slaughtered before, and where there were once corpses of the Prince of darkness' tables, now stood a clergy, a shadowed Gathering's of Upir souls that shimmered unseen bellow only there red eyes visible to you. And in a great circle on high chairs were Twelve Inquisitors, shadowed save for one, Red of hair and blue of eyes and looking far more like the Rose you knew.

Above them, stationed at the four corners where what you guessed where the Knights, in full Knight arms, One grandeous, in plate of silver that wore a feathered helm, the second hunched and twitching, wearing yellow Plate with a great Iron muzzle covering her entire face only the bellowing mane of her blonde hair fully visible, The Third wore little plate, save for the jagged pauldrons, gauntlets and Greives over her long coat, a Dark pentagonal helmet covering the face that You knew would be Willow's.

And at the head of the Knights, stood a Tall Slender form, powerful in her Gleaming Crimson plate armour, the Bottoms of her gauntlets removed and her bare wrists open to air, a bulbous Sphere shaped helmet over Valerica's face as she stood at The King's side.

Dracula sat on a high chair of Black stone and gold, he looked older, more tired, his eyes were half open and his face was broken and lost, He looked thin and weak like He hadn't fed or slept in weeks and his eyes didn't look down at the shadowed form of a man, who you could only see from behind, his huge locks of Pitch black hair had hues of deep red in them, falling down to his waist like a cape as He looked up to his father, his face obscured. "Father?" Alucard pressed again, this time catching the Vampire-King's attention."

"Alexander, what do you want? have you... carried out my crusade as tasked?" Dracula's voice was low and raspy, the pain in his tone was apparent, though Alucard did not seem to care.

"No." Alucard said, a familiar twinge in his tone that gave you chills.

"Ugh... Stupid boy, get out of here, and... destroy our enemies, take vengeance on the Humans on my behalf..."

"No." Alucard repeated.

The Red Knight stepped forward, removing her helm "Father, you must carry out our King's request."

"Silence. Valerica." Alucard Growled, making the woman step back in fear. The Crowd watched in a silent uncertainty, it seemed that they were afraid of Alucard.

"I have no love for Humans. But I will not bring reckoning upon them at a fool's request."

"How dare you." One of the Upir hissed.

Alucard ignored him, "I have long surpassed you, King Dracula, and I fear that it is my time to rule the House of Dracul."

Dracula smiled dementedly, rubbing his bloodshot eyes as he chuckled "Do you really think, that I am just going to give you my throne, idiotic boy? so you can lock the doors of My great castle and fester as you fondle away at your own legacy?"

Rose looked afraid, Valerica just as much so, but the Upir court began to murmur "I will do with my blood as which pleases me, and with the throne that is my Birthright."

"Did Cain put you up to this?" Dracula said, his shoulder slumping like they were too heavy to hold up "You think... That thing will fulfil its promises? all it can do is lie and kill, as it was cursed to do the moment god decreed."

Alucard did not speak, He merely stood in silence until He raised his arms "Stand."

The Court collectively stood, everybody, every form arose, save for Dracula himself "Sit." He commanded, and so they all sat "bare your teeth." over hundred beings hissed as their fangs shot out and their eyes glowed an ominous red "Be silent." And just as quickly as they started, they stopped again.

Alucard slowly moved forward ascending the steps and his movement echoed in the room, moving close and closer to his father until He finally stopped "The High court is Mine, Old man. You have been weakening since your foolish little Human puppet: Draco, was killed by those Humans, You will step down from your throne, take residence in our Fortress to the West, or you will die."

Dracula frowned, gritting his teeth as He shakily got to his feet, baring his fangs and releasing his claws as He hissed "I am neither old enough or foolish enough to allow this to stand."

"Very well," Alucard said, a terrible cloudy aura of red oozing from him, a great bloodlust that filled the entire room in his Ire... He was gonna kill Dracula, he was really going to do it, this must have been how he died, but-

You paused, seeing a figure Appear in between the two, her form obscured from you save for the long silk of her Emerald Gown... she whispered to them both, a hushed and hurried whisper, that at once made Dracula strand straight, and Alucard stand down, his Aura drowning out as He nodded "Very well." He said to the Woman "Leave this place, leave your crown, and never darken my door again." Alucard's first command as King.

Dracula lent unto the woman, You watching as She guided him down the steps, where his two Granddaughter's stood in outrage "Grandfer!? Grandfer!? you cannot go, you cannot leave us with him!" Valerica screamed, Rose beginning to quiver in terror.

"It's... going to be okay, Rica, Little Petal. Elizebeta will protect you... I... I am sorry." Dracula said, before He and The Woman: Elizebeta, Vanished.

"NO! NO! NO! GRANDFER!" Valerica roared, removing her helmet and throwing it so hard into the wall that it shot through it like a bullet, her taloned finger's pointing at Alucard as she looked to her fellow knights "We cannot follow this fool, He cannot be our king, Maria!? Cassandra, look at me... Willow? Please?" She begged her fellow knights, but neither the Yellow Knight or the Black Knight said anything, only the SIlver one stepped forward, her red eyes glowing through her visor

"Maria... Please." Valerica pleaded to the Silver knight, but she raised her claws.

"The King is Dead, Long live the King." She whispered as Alucard sat.

LONG LIVE KING ALUCARD!!!

LONG LIVE KING ALUCARD!!!

LONG LIVE KING ALUCARD!!

Your eyes opened to the dark mahogany of your coffin's door, arms intertwined into an X as the black cushion of its interior soft on your stiff limbs.

"Why am I seeing this? to see a King of Darkness give way to his kin? to see Rose or Valerica before this mess, to sympathise, what does it have to do with me?"

Your half-**** thoughts were often a thing responded too, by the Beast, his writhing monstrous form wreaking havoc within the confines of your bones. But to call the thing that responded to your thoughts: A Beast, an animal that thrived on chaos, would be ultimately incorrect.

Questions. it is the nature of the Vampire to Question, for what is the mind forever bound and timeless without the need for knowledge?

It was not huge, or uncontrolled, the Dark thing that sat on the bed of your inner sea, this creature was indeed apart of you, you could feel him, and You knew he could feel you. But this humanoid shape was the size of a man, his shadowy form pulsating in black smoke, with eyes that burned in familiarity.

"Beast... What are these memories doing to you? to us? I cannot control myself, I can not control you."

The thing looked up into your eyes, it's glowing red orbs set solidly in it's more person-like form, it's hair splayed out around it like onyx tendrils that flicked and tasted at the air like forked tounges.

The Memories, yes, they are changing us, making us whole, it is more than our frame can contain, we must control our power, this storm of wrath. As the dragon: twelve headed, must manage it's minds.

"I have so much to do... I can't contain all of this, it's like a bottomless sea of power, being poured into me, it's breaking me, Beast, I am scared."

Your Fears are not just your own. You must stick close to the clan, and the Blood of your blood, find pleasure in them, in sex and desire, I believe it will sate us for now. Until we can fix whatever this is... don't fuck it up.

"Tell me... What... what are you, what are we?"

The Monster inside smiled up at you, standing as He bared his black fangs.

I am you. And You are Me. And One is all we'll ever Be.

Taking a deep breath, and rubbing your bleeding eyes, you pushed open the face of your Black coffin, the low light flooding in as Your shadowy aura spilt out, slithering along the floor of your cave, like a midnight fog.

Stepping out into the room, you felt eyes looking at you, turning to gaze into the Lounge Area where Four women sat.

Namina blinked her Emerald eyes, her Mahogany hair dancing across her shoulders as she jingled in place anxiously, her black overalls covering her tight body as is skipped and shifted on the sofa. Belle was next to her, brushing the Brown locks that hung from her loose ponytail as she smiled weakly at You, her curvaceous and fit frame on full display in her yoga pants and sports bra. Cleo lent unamusedly on one of the armrests, the tight shine of her leather jacket with the vest underneath giving her a weird biker-girl'esk look, her matching black jeans and booth hugging her modestly. While Diana wore a white blouse with Black slacks, her hair tied up in a bun and her square glasses sat curtly on her pretty face as she read some documents.

The Vampire's of the Group looked at you, as you moved forward, Mina even shifting uncomfortably as You stepped silently towards them.

"Hey... Master." Belle said quietly.

Diana looked up at Belle with a raised eyebrow, before turning to you and violently jolting "Oh fucking hell. Can you at least try and make some noise when you move around, Chip? scared the bejesus out of me!" She groaned.

You saw the unease on the Vampire's faces "Are you girl's alright? You look really tense."

Cleo held back a shiver, rubbing her own shoulders in self-comfort "You are drowning the room in bloodlust, idiot." She growled.

Namina nodded, terror on her adorable face "F-Feels like my bones are trying to jump out of my skin and run a-away." She squeaked, lips curling in disdain of the horrid sensation that your Aura brought.

"Can you... turn it off, Master? If my bladder worked I'd be peeing myself right now..." Belle asked, clutching between her legs as she shook.

"What are you on about? I can't feel anything?" Didi muttered in confusion.

"Oh really? Having mortal senses must be great! how about you do that descendant thing and look into him or whatever the fuck you do, You'll get it then!" Cleo's face twisted in a deep frown as Diana got to her feet, moving towards you to rest a palm on your chest.

"You know, in the hundreds of years you've been alive, you'd think that You would have learned that sarcasm is the lowest form of Humour-*Gasp*" Diana flew backwards, her fingertips barely touching your chest before she shrunk back in honour "TURN THAT OFF, WHATEVER THAT IS JUST TURN IT OFF, WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY!?" She cried.

You raised an eyebrow "I... I'm not even doing anything, I feel fine." You lied, the Monster writhing twisting and turning constantly like a whirlpool of fury.

"I DON'T CARE, JUST TURN THAT OFF, HOLY FUCK!" Your sister screamed.

"Okay, okay... Sorry."

"Hey, give it a break will you?"

...hmmm, very well.

As the Beast's power died down, the room instantly relaxed, like a weight had been lifted from everyone's shoulders.

"Phew, that was like having a hive of Killer-bees crawling all over me, eugh." Namina shiver, shaking the feeling away

"Are you alright, Babe, You've been oozing Murderous intent for the last hour?" Belle asked in her kind way.

"An hour!? why didn't you wake me?" You asked.

Cleo chuckled mockingly "Yeah right, I'd sooner wake up a sleeping bear."

You chuckled trying to relive the tension and it worked, even if Sarcasm was the lowest form of humour you always had had an appreciation for it, and the other's did too.

"So what are you all Up too... I thought you were going to spend some time with Aunt Hilde, Didi?" You asked your sister Curiously.

The Raven-haired woman removed her glasses carefully tucking them into the Case into her pocket before speaking "Well, I was, but she had other plans, asked me to go over this paperwork for her on an apartment she is purchasing in the Eastside." Your sister held the paper's in her hand, tapping the ends on the table so they straightened out and tucking those in turn into her briefcase "I did try and press to see what she was doing in the meantime, but she just smiled at me and told me to scoot."

You and your sister shared a laugh.

"So... what is with your Aunt, she came outta nowhere and then just vanishes again, don't you think that's a little odd?" Namina asked.

You and Diana looked between each other wondering who should answer, but it was you who eventually spoke "Remhilda is... Well, she's always been like that, she appears for a while then disappears for a while. hehe and yeah Odd is certainly the right word for her, You heard her eulogy right? that woman could scare off a Giant with that smile of hers."

"It is suspicious," Cleo noted, though she didn't seem to be paying much attention.

"Listen, She obviously has some history, she's always been superstitious and super athletic, but I never thought anything of it until I found out Dad was the Black-Star. If I had to guess our entire family has always been close to monster's, we are descended from _The _Monster after all. Still, I trust her, she has always cared about us and her Loyalty isn't a problem." You voiced sincerely but firmly.

Cleo and Namina exchanged looks, it caught Didi's sharp eyes "You guys know her, don't you? Like you knew our dad?"

Namina scratched her head "Guilty...." She mumbled "But it's not like we know her, know her. She's the Black Rabbit."

She said that like you were supposed to know what that meant, though you remembered Valerica mentioning the name, and the Name that she knew your grandfather by: The Mad Dog.

Cleo huffed "The Black Rabbit is a legend, all of us know about her in some kind of way, just like we knew Roman, Your grandfather too, though all for different reasons."

Namina expanded the explanation much to your thanks "I'm not that old compare to most so I might be wrong, but the way it was explained to me is that Artorias Drake was the Mad-Dog, He would survey Monsters all across America, keep tabs on us all and if we caused too much trouble..."

Cleo nodded, continuing "He'd send Your dad. Roman was the Black-Star, He didn't really make a habit of killing monster's he was more about researching us looking into things and interacting with us, he'd even worked with a bunch of Monsters, He'd be like the Jury between man and beast..."

You could picture it in your mind, especially with the memory of Your father and grandfather arguing over their old work still partly fresh on your mind, but considered it thoughtfully and came to a grim conclusion "So If my grandpa was Judge, and My Dad Jury, then that makes My aunt..."

Diana nodded grimly "Executioner."

"All know of Remhilde." Cleo said, leaning in and looking grave "All Clans in the States, hell, the world, fear the Black Rabbit as an omen of ****. She has been know to cripple major Clans who harass humans under the High court's nose, and even wiping out the smaller clans in their entirety."

Belle gulped "B-But how is that possible, she's just a human... how could she pull that off?" the Brunette asked.

Diana chuckled "I don't think any of our family are just humans at this point. Monster hunting family or not, we are good enough people. If my aunt ever butchered monster's it had to be for a good reason." She said, you nodding in agreement.

"And how do you know that for certain?" Cleo asked.

You grinned "Drakes do not compromise."

You and your sister shared another chuckle, but there seemed to be a kind of awkward tumble from the others... it was when you saw their awkward glances that there was a kind of divide amongst these four women.

Gerix and Nox...

The Beast was right, Diana and Belle... well they were Nox now, it was all they had ever been to each other, but Cleo and Namina... they were Gerix once and this gathering of girls hadn't really spent much time all together before, true Diana and Belle got on pretty well, Cleo and Namina were long-time associates, and Belle and Cleo had been sharing your bed for a couple of days but, other than that, there wasn't much rapor.

_"I've gotta break this tension," _You thought rubbing your chin. "Hey, here's an idea, since we are all here, why don't we relax a little, I know yesterday was a sad day, and I've been a little on edge lately, but that's no reason not to have fun!" You smiled, the girl's looking at each other.

"What do you suggest?" Cleo asked, finally contributing more than 40% of her attention,

"What about a little Game! something to get all us familiar with each other, I know it must be a little awkward all sharing one Boyfriend." You noted.

Namina shifted "B-But we aren't... in a relationship..." She chuckled, flushing a little as she hid her face in her sleeves.

You cleared your throat "*Ahem* yet."

"W-What?" Namina squeaked.

"What? oh, Nothing." You smiled, making the Dark haired petite beauty's lips curl into an adorably embarrassed smile.

"Ooooh! How about Spin the Bottle!" Belle yelped excitedly.

Cleo groaned "I already have to sleep in the same bed as you, I don't wanna make out with you too, why don't we just play Truth or dare or something." Cleo shot at Belle who put her hands on her hips.

"Hey! I have fabulous lips! top tier lippy-kissers!" She cried, pinching her full lips.

You put your arms out bracingly "How about we play, spin the bottle/Truth or Dare?"

The Girl's looked at you, then to between themselves, you could practically see the mischief in their eyes.

"Alright, I'm down," Diana said, pulling the band from her black hair that fell free as she lent back into the couch.

"Sure, that's a totally awesome idea!" Namina agreed.

Belle and Cleo exchanged challenging glances "Fine." Cleo said.

"Yeah, I'll bite," Belle said with a chuckle.

"Okey dokey, it's settled then. Spin the bottle truth or dare, I'll get us a bottle and-" You paused, and idea popping into your head. Your sister saw the gears turning in your head.

"What are you planing?" She asked, eyes narrowing.

"Oh nothing, I'm just thinking... I have someone that I'd love to play with us." You grinned.

Namina tilted her head "Who?"

"Oh, you'll see... hehe." You chuckled at your own joke, fully aware that none of them would get it, oh well it was in poor taste anyway... hehe, you were a genius.

*Sigh* we are an idiot.

"Oh shut up, and show me where she is in the sea, so I can summon her."

The Beast shrugged, grasping your collar and Dragging you over to the Nox that had sat in your curious thoughts so that you could call her over for the Game.

In Charlie's cave is Belle, a Brunette and a Harkin, strong of form but sweet of face, Diana, the Lord's sister, Black of hair like he is but slender and beautiful, then there is Mina... no Namina, a Noctus and by the smell of her a Feline, and finally there is Cleo, with short black hair cut into a bob and a sour but pretty face.

But in the Cave, there is another, a Woman Tall, with Straight Black hair that was both dyed partly blue and wavy at its ends, Her eyes are wide and unblinking, with a particular mixture of Brown around the ring of her iris and milky white in-between that and her pupils.

The Woman stood just behind Charlie: Lord of the Noxium, peering over his shoulder and looking into his left ear, curious if she could see the activity within as well as she could sense it. However, she realised she was being silly, looking into a man's ear and so stepped back as He came back from summoning his Delegate.

"Alright girl's, she should show up in a minute or so, how about we share a bottle of Gin until she shows up!?" He asked enthusiastically.

Belle the brunette agreed vigorously and the other's followed suit. The Woman followed the Superior over to his liquor cabinet where His golden eyes trailed along the vast selection. He was an unrelentingly handsome you man, with high cheekbones and little dimples in his cheeks when he smiled, his Black hair was wavy and curled at its ends, perfectly kept... a Groomer she noted.

She looked at his body, how they were the same height and how the muscles in his forearms flexed as he fiddled his fingers, the tight-fitting shirt that didn't leave the defined shape of his abdomen, strong chest or thick biceps to any stretch of her imagination. She noted that He smelt nice, like coconut and marshmallows, a soft and unthreatening smell that made her nose tingle pleasantly.

The Woman liked this man, even among Vampire's he was good-looking, seemed charming and caring to a degree unrealistic to believe.

She had been following him for a time, watching with her wide eyes when the Upir was away, that one would spot her straight away. Watched him sleep and Hunt, talk and Copulate with the women He claimed, He even caught her in his vision once when He awoke a while ago, but unlike some of the people that she watched, The Woman did not get bored of observing him, in fact, she was finding it difficult to find the motivation to stay away from him.

The Woman saw the trouble he was having with choosing, and so reached up from beside him, lightly knocking a nice bottle with her clawed finger.

He quickly reached up, catching it before it fell "Need to get this old Cabinet fixed, can't have bottles falling off." He thought aloud, though he contemplated the Gin in his hands and smiled, closing the cabinet doors and walking over to the group.

Stepping around the Large underground space, she wondered what His blood would taste like if it ever met her tongue, toying with his toothbrush in the bathroom, smelling the Bodywashes and shampoos as she stepped over and into his empty bathtub, feeling it's ridges as she sat in it.

Her fingers traced along the ridge of a Glass in the kitchen, seeing the deep red lip-gloss stain on its edge, she wondered what colour of lipstick he preferred and tried to smell her breath, annoyed that she couldn't pick up the scent on account of her not actually having breath.

The soft clink sounded as she lightly tapped a knife and fork together that she had taken from the sink, she smelt them carefully, picking up the subtle scent of his saliva and wondered curiously how it was that He ate and Breathed, how she could hear his heartbeat and how on occasion colour flooded into his face, but she paused feeling her ears prick up as she heard "So, there are what, like five girls that You are in a relationship with now right?"

She zipped silently over to the group, kneeling behind the Brunette who had spoken as Lord Nox began to pour everyone Gin and Cokes "Um... Yeah?" He asked, a little awkwardly.

The Woman thought it curious how He could at one moment seem so confident and humble in the same breath.

"Well, are we It? since you're apparently growing a little Harem, here, I was wondering if we were the only ones you had your eyes on?" The Brunette asked, curiously and not in a volatile way, The Woman noted.

Charles Drake looked between them "Well... Mina and I have a date, next week?"

The Polymorphous flushed, throwing up her arms "That isn't a problem right? I don't want to like, intrude or anything!"

Belle licked her lips "I don't mind at all..." She growled

"As long as I get my Smiles, and My lord is satisfied." Cleo shrugged.

Diana looked between them, then to her brother "I think we will all be fine, as long as You make time for us all." She smiled.

He grinned a little "And... If I were to continue to add to our little... club?" He asked.

Belle lent forward "How about this, You can have a group of girlfriends if we can at least approve of them first!"

Cleo smiled, it was the first time that the Woman had seen her do so "That is actually a good idea, for a bimbo."

Belle frowned "Oh come on, I'm not even blonde!"

Charles Drake nodded "Yeah, I guess that's okay. Sure let's go with that, I... I wouldn't want to... you know, hurt any of you anyway." He was trying to be aloof, but the women all gave him warm smiles.

"Aw, little Chippy doesn't want to break our hearts!" Diana Drake said, grabbing him around the neck and ruffling his hair. the other girl's sharing a hearty laugh.

The Woman moved around the couch, crouching in front of Charles Drake eagerly, looking at his handsome face as he moaned for his sister to get off him...

maybe she had a chance? Maybe she should... Reveal herself? Introduce herself to them, that is what Normal people did right?

She backed away, thinking to herself mutely... no... no the other's still had plans, she couldn't ruin them. The Irish Lady, Morrigan would overreact, and Swan would be upset, not to mention Lord Horus... she liked him, He was always kind to her even if he was a little pompous.

And as Powerful as The Woman was, she wasn't confident that she had the capacity to wipe Lord Nox's memory of her, his will was far too strong.

That is when an Idea came to the Woman, maybe if she couldn't fully reveal herself, then maybe she could partially reveal herself? just enough to get away with being present but not actually there? it was as good a plan as any.

Standing and walking over as Charles Drake took a seat next to his sister, throwing his arm around her, The Woman carefully let down her barriers, not completely just partially, the fleshy cocoon that surrounded her dissipating a little into mist.

She wasn't sure if it worked and so lent down to Charle's Drake, asking politely if He could shuffle over so that she could sit.

He gave her a quick glance, then nodded "Yeah, sure, here ya go." He shifted over a little, tapping the empty space beside him absently as she sat, smiling widely as they continued to talk.

The Woman shuffled around on her phone, enjoying the strange sensation of semi-presence until The Brunette looked at her from the other side of the coffee table.

"Hey, what's your name?" She asked, not entirely paying attention.

The Woman told her.

"Oh that's a nice name-Hey Mina, what does it feel like to turn into a cat anyway..." The Brunette trailed off.

The Woman sat for a while, staring at the group as she sat silently on the couch, not quite sure of what to do next.

The Woman felt a little lonely just sitting there with people barely noticing her, and so Lent into Charles drake and asked if He could put his arm around her. As a man absently agrees to tell a random person the time on the street, he nodded, leaning in and wrapping his arm around her as He continued talking to his sister. The Woman went a little rigid, he was so enthusiastic with his grabbing of her, holding her closely...

This was probably the first time that anybody had ever touched her in many years, she didn't recall having someone hold her like this within recent memory, but then again she probably would have drunk anyone else dry. Still, her lips curled into a slight smile, enjoying Charle's drake's touch and his warmth as He suddenly paused, his brows creasing as he sniffed at the air.

The Woman blinked curiously, shrinking back as He darted forward, looking her right in her eyes as He sniffed "Hey... what is your name anyway?"

A Little perplexed, she repeated her name.

And His nostrils flared, the Red in his eyes from where his blood vessels split quivering as the cogs in his mind worked double time.

He knew something was wrong? How was that possible? He couldn't see through her cocoon, no one could see through her cocoon without her express permission, still, more and more recognition seemed to fill his eyes as He looked at her, a horrible feeling came into her chest, that horrible feeling she got when Her brother told her off for being too curious.

And so she huffed a little sadly and raising her hand Clicking her fingers, allowing the cocoon to once again fully enrapture her, where she slipped out of Charles Drakes arms and stared at him for a moment.

Unable to suppress herself, she lent down, grabbing his hair and taking a long smell, before brandishing her phone and taking a selfie with him, quickly darting off out of the cave and into the night sky, her face flush with embarrassment.

"Dude... what are you doing?" Diana asked, looking at your arm slung around nothing, like you had been cuddling an invisible person.

Raising an eyebrow, you paused "I just had my arm around..." You couldn't remember her name? god, what was it? it was right there, right on the tip of your tongue.

"Around who?" Diana asked again, clearly very confused.

You blinked "She was right here, she was... Her eyes where... She had hair like..." Nothing, you couldn't recall anything.

"Are you okay, bro, you've only had like one drink?" Diana prodded your glass as You blinked again.

"Yeah... sorry, I must have just been imagining things... sorry." You said, sipping your drink and wondering what the fuck you were just talking about.
