Ruler of the Night

Rose was waiting for You when You emerged outside. The very second Your foot stepped out of that building and into the night air... everything changed, everything began to link.

Everything began to flicker into You, The Sounds: birds waking, Leaves shimmering around You, the breeze brushing past the blades of grass. The smells: the scent of the green around you, the dust from the building's old bricks, hints of mass life, the City in the distance "You feel that?" Asked Rose, seeing Your pause, "Do I feel it?" You mumbled, taking in the feeling of the earth beneath your feet, quaking from movements near and far, Your eyes focused, catching on detail after detail, the cracks in the stone of buildings fanciful patio, The ants that crawled exactly one meter to Your right, everything felt bound to itself, all connected, The full moon above a Motherly eye watching all below, each star her children shining in an unrelenting beauty "I...I feel everything." You muttered, looking at the Red-Haired woman with wide eyes.

"You've displayed masterful impulse control, many with senses of Your Calibre would have rushed off by now?" She sure as hell understood the feeling, it was hard to not just sprint off, to go and be free in the night were You felt like a lord, like everything was true, real in that moment "I need to move, I want to see more!" You spoke, smiling as You approached Her with open hands like a wanting child.

Rose smirked, "Well I'm not all that dressed for real exercise but... I suppose that we could?" Before she finished her sentence, she rushed towards You, her hand pushing at Your chest harshly before muttering a quick "You're it."

And just like that She was gone, she had burst off to the west of the building, but with just as much speed, with legs that felt like they could kick a building over, You pushed off into a run, the **** making the air crack on ur naked skin.

You grinned with glee as You pushed in Your pursuit, God this felt so good, You were so fast, so ungodly fast that it was a wonder that You didn't crash into anything as You danced in a circle around Building, Rose jumped and dodged with such precision, each movement was calculated and powerful, far superior to Your wild pouncing and grabbing, leaving You to grasp at nothing but air.

There were others hanging around the Building, all heading for entrance it seemed, they all looked on in awe as the two of you exploded by, the light whisperings and curious smiles going unnoticed by You, You only had one focus at the moment.

Rose seemed to be enjoying herself in a strange way, a prideful grin on her face as she evaded Your blind snatching, though when You saw it, it did nothing but motivate You, You were gonna wipe that smirk off her pretty little face. And so as the two of You darted around the building perimeter, dashing around in its large garden illuminated by Lanterns and Fire lamps, the plants and flowers all being blown around by the **** of Your movement, You slowly but surely began to refine Your targeting.

She did this thing, twirled and danced as she dodged Your hits, She was damn sure confident that You couldn't catch her with Your heavy grabbing, so You formed a plan.

You ringed around for what must have been the thirtieth time, You pushed her back into the garden, stepping to chase her to the right, naturally, she threw herself to the left to evade You, taking Your chance You fained to the left and quickly threw Yourself the right, catching her as she tried to correct her course.

You pushed Your right arm forward, thrusting it hard against her, grasping at her and catching onto her chest, Her soft breast meeting Your hand, There was a moment of recognition in You both, Your hands, touching the soft flesh as You both hurtled through the air for only a split second "You're it?" You said a little nervously, She growled going to swipe back but out of some wild instinct, You managed to land on Your feet and fuck right off in the other direction.

Luckily it seemed that evading Her was easier than trying to catch her, it was strange, She had that aura to her again, that Ravenous hunger, when You managed to look behind You, You saw what could only be described as a terrifying gargoyle, jaw extended and eyes bulging, burning like coals, just seeing her, feeling what You felt, it activated something in You, this monstrous instinct, a counterpart to hers.

You felt Your skin tighten, jaws harden, Teeth extend, You wailed in a high pitch gleeful screech as she chased You, The half maddening animalism of it all was making You thirsty.

She was getting close, too close, You couldn't evade Her out in the open like this, luckily it had occurred to You, this place was surrounded by the woods and so You decided to move the little skirmish between the trees.

What happened next, could only be described as a game of Rustic Vampire pinball, You and Her were bouncing off of the trees, ducking and diving, Bits of wood and bark flying everywhere.

All was fun and games, extremely Volatile, Potentially fatal Game mind You but... that changed when You noticed them.

You stopped in Your tracks, holding unto a particularly large oak as You caught the scent. Rose also stopped, Any and all of her bestial features had faded, she was herself again but You? You had caught something that had switched that new instinct of Yours, from Play to Hunt.

Sniffing instantly You knew that there was a group of them, four or five by the smell and sound, all Young, all healthy "Charles..." Rose spoke in a low voice, trying to pull You from Your animalistic snorting "Charles, don't." The same smell, the one from the chamber, it was mouth-watering "Listen to me, You must resist." It was too late, You were already moving, already speeding towards the campers, they were so close, so full and tasty, they would be Your meal, Your beef and lamb and Chicken, they would feed the hunger, feed the hunger!

Rose gave chase, trying once again to catch You, but she wouldn't stop You, Nothing would prevent You from tasting of that Holy Crimson Nectar "Come on let's sing a couple of tunes?" spoke a light female voice, as You rushed towards the Camp.

"...Yeah Daddy, Sing us a Song!" You felt Your legs weaken, "Sing Awtomn weef!" spoke another much younger voice, "Autumn Leaves? again, are You sure You don't want me to sing something else?" You approached the camp... your body weak as You crouched in the bushes, looking in on the family, A Mother, A Father holding an acoustic guitar and Two Young daughters.

"Awtomn weef, awtomn weef!" The Younger girl cried, "Alright alright, Autumn leaves it is." The Father said tuning his guitar briefly before playing and singing in a smooth voice.

_"The Falling leaves, drift by the window, the autumn leaves, of red and gold!" He sang as he strummed his guitar in a beautiful accompanying melody, "I see Your lips, the summer kisses, The sunburned hands, I used to hold," You looked on to the Father, singing to his girls... and... tears began to fall from Your eyes "And since You went away, the days grow long, and soon I'll hear old winter's song. but I miss You most of all, My darling.... when autumn leaves, start to fall."_ He was gone, Dad, He was dead. She took him.

You realized that Rose was behind You, Her smaller form crouched beside You in the darkness, "You're not gonna eat them then?" She asked, not mockingly, more coldly than anything, You stood, walking away from the family who sang and smiled in the dark "I'm not taking good parents away from their children..." He said walking away, wiping the Crimson tears from his face.
