The Joebizi

The race which evolved in the Pactermis system had reached the early stages of industrialization when a damaged generation ship full of **** humans made an emergency landing upon their world.

What followed was a terrible and bloody conflict in which the numerical superiority of the indigenous population triumphed over humanity’s superior technology. The Joebizi engaged in a campaign of systemic indoctrination and eugenics to transform humanity into a docile **** race and erase any knowledge of their origins.

The Joebizi progressed from steam engines to rocket engines in less than one hundred years. Within three hundred years of the human’s arrival the Joebizi had begun expanding across their solar system using technologies stolen from the human’s spacecraft. Such rapid development has drawn the attention of The Alliance.

Physical description.

In their natural state, the Jeobizi can be easily mistaken for a small, sleek, elephant that appears stretched out. Upon closer inspection one observes that these cloven hooved quadrapeds possess three trunks that fork off into three branches. Giving the creatures nine trunk-like tendrils surrounding a central mouth. The xenos possess three pairs of eyes giving them excellent visual acuity. Due to their large size and great strength, the unhumanized slaves make for excellent riding mounts and heavy menials.

The Vreebach

Evolved on the world that was rechristened Tangerkesh II upon its surrender. The Vreebach race holds a unique place in Federation history as the first species of xenos to negotiate their surrender to The Federation and the pioneers of supplication as an alternative to conquest. The species of arboreal rodents evolved a unique symbiotic relationship with a strain of plankton-like organisms that gives the squirrel-like creatures a greenish tinge to their back fur, the ability to photosynthesize, and an unusual reaction to lipids.

Their tree dwelling civilization evolved of long, slow, stable, lines with a long undisrupted continuity that would be considered exceedingly harmonious. Despite living on a planet considered a **** world by The Alliance and Federation, the Vreebachs, being perfectly suited to their environment developed hundreds of thousands of years of historical record completely lacking in war or violent conflict.

The Kroxaa discovered these creatures they found primitives living in a preindustrial society that would develop hard,mushroom-shaped growths on their backs when you **** fed them fatty foods. Dude to the hostile nature of the planet, the Kroxaa only set up a small outpost on the planet to act as a hunting lodge.

What followed was an era of nightmares for The Vreebach race as they were hunted. Those who were captured were **** to consume toxic fats to make **** for their oppressors.

The Vreebach were pushed to the brink of annihilation before the Federation Navy arrived.

Even without the influence of NOXET, the green backed xenos were enthusiastic allies of humanity and sacrificed a great deal in the attack on the Kroxaa ground based weapons and scrydar arrays when humanity laid siege to the star system.

In special consideration for their enthusiasm to help humanity, the unique nature of their physiology, there planet being so unsuitable for full settlement, and a genuine sympathy for such a peaceable race being brutalized in such a fashion, The Federation Parliament passed new laws to give the Vreebach a special status among all the other xenos. As supplicants, the majority of Vreebach live as they always have but with a growing number of their kind working in the new tourist industry established on their world by human extremophiles who want to climb the mega trees and hunt the indigenous Kaiju. A small percentage of the population apply for work or tourist leases so that they might travel between the stars and see the wonders of the galaxy.

Physical description

The Vreebach are an arboreal species which comes across as looking like a cross between a squirrel and a sloth that are often described as being 'adorable' by most humans. They are capable of walking on their hind legs, but prefer to skitter and climb around their treetop habitats on all fours. Most of their bodies are covered in a photosynthetic fur which acts as the primary source of a Vreebach’s dietary sugars with the bulk of their other nutrients coming from their consumption of plant matter with their bellies being pale and extremely sensitive skin.

Vreebach get intoxicated on fatty acids. When the arboreal eat an animal or certain fatty plants, their mental state will be altered and their bodies will produce a tumor like nodules which have a variety of effects on other life forms.

In their humanized state, Vreebach are adapted to mitigating the most deleterious effects of consuming oils, but still prefer to avoid lipids should they be concerned about their health.

Adjinn

Not a race of xenos in and of themselves, but the offspring of two xenos who have been humanized into mutual viability. Most mongrels are regarded as of an even lower status than their pure-bred xeno counterparts. Adjinn serve as the slaves of the slaves with a few notable exceptions.

A handful of esoteric border lords have taken to the practice of purposely breeding adjinn for particular traits, psionic talent in particular. Such “PsiDjinn” are highly prized for their potent and unique psionic abilities.

Uplifts

Long before mankind arrived in the Alpherion system, before the generation ships were scattered amidst the Great Exodus, before the enormous deep void craft were constructed, before The Super Storms drove billions of humans into the shelter of arcologies, Mankind had succeeded in uplifting several animal species to sapience before Terra’s ecosystems were devastated.

Uplifted Corvids, Apes, Cetaceans, elephants, and Beavers joined Mankind in making The Great Exodus across the stars. Like all creatures who claim ancestry from the primordial ooze of Old Earth, Uplifts carry a natural immunity to NOXET. Giving them a unique middleman status within Federation society. Uplifts often live in their own communities built to suit the unique physiology of their species.
